BRIGHTON GARDENS OF STAMFORD

My mom was a resident of Brighton Gardens for the last several months of her life. It was a lovely experience for her and our family. The caregiving was excellent. The caregivers were thoughtful, respectful and positive at all times. We felt supported, by the helpfulness and responsiveness of staff.

I moved my mom into Brighton Gardens about a month ago. Both myself and my brother work in the Care Industry. As professionals and a family member, we are very pleased with my mom's care and services. She has gotten so much better with her care needs while she has been here coming from rehab. They make sure she is involved in all the activities, trips and also are very patient in hearing her needs and requests. She is well cared for and they watch out for her. From the incredible front desk team, to the nursing team, to the entire management team and staff.. we are very thankful and would rate them 5 Star. If you are looking for a place for your loved one ... look no further. You have found a home.

The staff at Brighton Gardens were kind, caring and professional. They were always willing to help my aunt and in the end of her life, especially, I was grateful to have them. The administration was always there for me and the atmosphere of the shared places was homelike and welcoming. The addition of dogs and touches of decor made it a home. I was always happy to be there and felt included in my aunt's health and well being. This is the second time I placed a family member there and I would do it again without hesitation. Brighton Gardens of Stamford is an exceptional place, for many reasons. The management and staff are very caring and responsive and I have been able to easily develop good personal and working relationships with many of them. The individual one-bedrooms and studios are clean and up-to-date, spacious, well-lit, and very well maintained. The food offers many choices on an ever-changing menu at each meal in the dining hall and tastes good - I sometimes join my Dad for a meal there if it fits into my schedule. The health care team and the designated daily care supervisors are very helpful and on top of my father's needs. The business managers are all accessible and helpful whenever we need help or have questions. My father has made many friends with the other residents and the staff, and there are numerous activities to participate in when he wishes to do so. He feels active and enjoys being a part of the community of residents and staff very much. The level of autonomy he enjoys is appropriate for him in accordance with his capacities and runs very smoothly and is reviewed at regular intervals. Most importantly, our family is very happy with his level of enthusiasm for life in his 87th year, and it is in no small part because he really enjoys living at Brighton Gardens of Stamford. I usually visit him 1-3 times a week and feel very welcome to stop by anytime. We also take him out for vacations, which is easy and seamless. Brighton Gardens of Stamford offers a comfortable home for seniors and I would give this facility more than 5 stars if the option was available!

So grateful for the exceptional care that all members of the Sunrise Brighton Gardens team provided to our beloved family member who was a resident for many years. The staff became family, and this residence truly felt like his home. Highly recommend their heartfelt, genuine compassionate care and ability to maintain dignity while meeting the emotional and physical needs of their residents. Thank you for all that you do!
