my experience was lukewarm but turned it to really cool . the residents love the care they get now! They have many activities and schedules for religious groups to give more than enough happiness. weekly bingo great Food⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. the administrator is new with lots of great ideas 💡 and helpful attitude 😁 very clean .not a dirty site by far celebration on every holiday and residents my come and go to have fun with families and friends. highly recommend for any need of care to new invites.

They go through "admins" almost weekly. The food is that of what would be fed to a low budget daycare and health codes for cooking and serving are horendous. The upper administration lies to you and is more concerned with making money than caring for our elderly. They will tell you what you want to hear and will say it will be "handled personally" and then nothing happens. If you stand up to the admins for family they will threaten you. There are NO activities for the residents like stated on their website and the staff does not keep the place clean or safe. They will bait and switch you, tell you want you want to hear to get you in the door then pull the rug out as you get settled in.

To this point my experience with Bristol Manner has been positive and I would recommend them for anyone looking for residential care. It is important to note this is a residential care facility, not assisted living, and not a nursing home. Based on that my expectation was cooking, cleaning, and medication monitoring. Each of those items have been delivered at a satisfactory level. The administrator has also been very accommodating, helpful, and responsive. This is a good place for those looking for residential care, if higher levels of care are needed a higher level facility should be chosen.

If you're looking for assisted living for your loved one and they want more than "isolation" then don't look here. Yes, they will provide meals (although there are many left overs and cold breakfasts) and they will dispense medicine but that is all they do at Bristol manor. They claim to have organized activities...NOT TRUE! The lights are turned off after every meal and everyone is encouraged to stay in their bedroom. There is no assistance for daily living. The residents are forced into isolation. They claim to have 24 hours staffed employees... NOT TRUE. they don't have employees working at night. They tell you they do but believe me from first hand experience, THEY DON'T. The Administrator and her children live on site but are unavailable at night. They had a resident walk away unnoticed because no one was working. This 77 year old woman was lost for 8 hours in 100° heat. She's lucky she survived. If you care about your family member and they need assistance don't put them in Bristol manor. It is designed for people who want to be left alone.
