Brookdale Lake View

I had a tour on February 14, 2024 ... I moved in on February 28 2024. The executive Director and the staff and the programs here, are excellent! -Sid August 8, 2025: I now rate every Brookdale senior community with only one star: Brookdale is closing down my community Lake View, mostly because much more money can be made by it being de-converted back to a regular rental apartment building. Although the staff on hand is doing everything it can to help people relocate, the national leadership has left everyone in the lurch and is not sufficiently helping people find an appropriate new place. I would give zero stars except zero stars looks like it has not been rated, whereas one star is very clear. If Brookdale can abandon all the residents here, then they can abandon residents in any of their 620 communities. The lesson is: Do NOT move into any Brookdale any where, at any time, ever! -Sid

I came in this past Sunday & the front desk lady was very help. She connected me with a young girl from the marketing department as I am looking in senior living options for my mom. Although we ultimately couldn’t move forward since Brookdale is private pay and we need a Medicaid facility, Anissa went above and beyond to help us. She was incredibly understanding of our situation, took the time to explain the process, and even provided us with recommendations for other communities that accept governmental assistance. I truly appreciated her kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help, even when we weren’t able to proceed with Brookdale. Thank you for making a tough situation feel a little easier!

I had the pleasure of meeting Anissa, the Marketing Coordinator at Brookdale Lakeview, when I walked into the community on a Sunday looking for assistance for my grandmother. Anissa was incredibly kind, empathetic, and understanding from the moment I arrived. She took the time to listen to my concerns and provided thoughtful, informative answers about the options available. She made sure to help me find the best community that would suit my grandmother’s needs. I truly appreciated her willingness to help and the genuine care she showed. Anissa at Brookdale Lakeview was wonderful to work with while exploring options for my uncle. She greeted us warmly and immediately made us feel at home. Anissa not only offered my uncle lunch but also took the time to introduce us to a variety of staff members, ensuring we felt well-informed and comfortable. She truly listened to our concerns and provided thoughtful, compassionate guidance throughout the entire visit. We left feeling confident and supported in our decision-making. I highly recommend Anissa for her professionalism and genuine care.

My mom has been at the Brookdale Lake View Assisted Living for about 4 months and it has been going very well. The Brookdale Lake View team has far exceeded my expectations and I regularly communicate with the Executive Director, head of nursing team and the marketing coordinator. Everyone has been very helpful and attentive and has made the transition of my 95 year-old mother much easier. This Brookdale location as well as the facility's available parking make our regular visits easy and convenient. We also like taking mom to the nearby park and she loves going there. Having mom at Brookdale, I can rest at ease that mom is in good hands with regular doctor's visits, physical therapy and around the clock nursing all on the facility. While we were little hesitant at first with moving mom to assisted living facility, it has taken huge strain off everyone in our family and has been a great fit.
