Brookdale Lisle AL

Executive Director is inaccessible and unresponsive to most concerns by independent living residents. Finance department has double-charged residents suffering from dementia who are, unfortunately, registered for automatic withdrawals. Very capable head chef resigned when a new “chef” was brought into the team for no apparent reason. Dining room offerings and service declined rapidly under her “leadership.” Brookdale executives have shared personal and confidential information about some of their residents with other residents, without permission. Acts of sexual harassment go unnoticed and are not documented accurately. Please look first a different facility for anyone you care about and love.

Brookdale lisle is a beautiful facility with an incredibly professional and kind staff...it has many wonderful things to offer our golden angels...to include a swimming pool, beautiful patio area, a very pleasant walk way and gazebo. There is great transportation taking residents to doctor visits, concerts, restaurants and scenic drives only to name a few...there are weekly happy hours with live entertainment, appetizers and drinks. The individual apartments are lovely and fully equipped...there is a gorgeous 5 floor atrium area with baby grand piano as well as pianos on other floors....there is also plenty of daily activities to include bingo, trivia, hand massages, manicures, a fully staffed beauty salon and gorgeous library, Mexican train dominoes, pool table and poker table as well as 2 fireplaces.... definitely worth a tour with the excellent Resident Team!! A must see for anyone considering independent living for their loved ones....

Walking into Brookdale, you feel right at home! Staff is very friendly and helpful, the outside and inside of the building is beautiful! All of the residents that live there are all so friendly and very eager to help out all new residents! I would recommend anyone looking for a loved one to come visit Brookdale Lisle!

Brookdale Lisle feels like home. The residents and the staff add so much to the community by being open to conversation, making new friendships and learning new hobbies to enjoy. There is a smile wherever you look, and someone interested to learn about you. Brookdale Lisle allows you to live the life you want, making new friends, hanging out in your apartment, trying a new activity or enjoying the spectacular view of the fireworks from the comfort of your apartment or on the community grounds, there is something for everyone.

My mother lived here for the 15 years prior to her death. I could not be happier with the decision to pick Brookdale of Lisle. She thrived, making friends and becoming involved with the chorus and weekly non-denominational services. The friends she made, some of whom were from the beginning of her time at Brookdale, made the last stage of her life a happy one. The community is warm and inviting and employees truly go beyond any expectation one could have for them. At the end, Brookdale at Home (as well as the engineers, front desk staff, business office employees, directors of various departments... see what I mean? So much support!) allowed her to stay in her independent apartment where she wanted to live out her days. I highly recommend Brookdale of Lisle.
