Brookdale Mount Vernon Drive

My brother’s primary caregiver (our sister-in-law) died unexpectedly while he was in hospice care. My sister and I had to find a place immediately to move him so that we could have him close to us. Wendy Owens (Executive Director) and Andrea Cox (Marketing & Sales) led us through this transition with compassion, reasoning, and efficiency. My sister and I could have never accomplished this on our own. My brother has made a amazing comeback! Thanks to the excellent care at Brookdale. he is no longer receiving hospice care and is on a walker and out of a wheelchair. We are so grateful for our experience with Brookdale.

This is a wonderful community. The residents were doing activities and seemed to be having fun. The staff were interacting with the residents and the management staff that I met were very helpful and answered all my questions. The executive director, business manager and sales person made me feel welcome and made me hesitate in choosing this community.

My Mother-in-law has lived at Brookdale Mt Vernon for almost two months. She needs a lot of hands on care. All of the staff have been so good to her. They have shown her love and kindness and have helped make her welcome in her new home.

What a beautiful community. I have a friend that lives here. I'm always welcomed when I'm come into the community the lady at the front desk name is Angie she is very sweet. The director of the community Wendy always says hello and ask how I'm doing. The activity director Marlene is amazing with the residents when I have visited my friend and the residents are engaged and enjoying themselves during activities. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The facility smells good and looks clean as well. I've not tasted the food but its smells amazing when the cook is making meals. I can't wait to go back and visit again.

This is a wonderful community. My mother loves it there. She is so happy and has made many new friends. It is a very welcoming building. They treat my mother like family. Wendy, Andrea and Angie were so helpful and made us feel at ease with our decision. The activities are very inviting. My mother joined in the first day. I highly recommend this place.
