Hickory Valley Retirement Center

Even though my parents ultimately weren’t able to move into this community because their care needs changed, I wanted to share how impressed we were with the staff and the facility. From the very first visit, everyone we met was kind, patient, and genuinely caring. The team took the time to answer every question and help us explore all the options available. The community itself is welcoming, well maintained, and you can tell that residents are treated with respect and compassion. Although we had to make other arrangements, I have no doubt my parents would have been very happy here if the timing and circumstances had allowed it. Thank you to the entire team for your professionalism and warmth. You truly made a difficult time easier for our family.

I just wanted to give a shout out to Donna who is over the housekeepers. She came into my mother in law’s apartment to introduce herself. She was so kind and treated my mother in law with such respect and kindness. We really appreciate someone who goes above and beyond. She is an asset to Hickory Valley. As we have walked through this trying and sometimes difficult journey of moving our mother into Hickory Valley, Brandi Murray has been a delight to work with. She has helped in any and every way she can and has made herself available to us and all our questions and concerns. She is also an asset to your company. We appreciate her willingness to commit herself to making our transitions a little easier.

Life is full of changes and our family has had several in recent months. One change was getting our dad settled into a new home at Hickory Valley. My brother and I met with Brandi Murray initially and were very impresssed with all the community has to offer and especially the warm and welcoming staff. When we brought our dad in for a tour, Katie exuded the same warm welcoming spirit. We’re happy to share our dad has been settling in quite well and we couldn’t be more appreciative for the support he has received at Hickory Valley!

When my sister and I visited Hickory Valley on behalf of our father, the say the least, we were very impressed with the facility and staff. Warm, energetic and accommodating are a few words that come to mind regarding our tour with Brandi Murray. When we came back with our father we met with Katie, and like Brandi and others we met, we all felt like he would receive compassion and care. The facility is spotless and the apartments are well appointed. We settled him in with their help and the transition was so smooth due to their willingness to look after him as needed. I have full faith that after only a few weeks he will continue to settle and feel at home there. What a peace of mind they have given us all. Thank you!

The team at Hickory Valley are excellent and very friendly. They found my parents a great apartment that allows them the freedom to come and go while providing a great nurturing community where they can be involved with others.
