Since my mother has been residing at Marbella’s. Janet Garcia’s attention to daily details regarding compassion, focus, reliability, and professionalism has always kept my mother and residents in the forefront of care. Janet and the staff have consistently given me peace of mind. Knowing my mother is safe and in nurturing hands. Janet always notices the fine elements that make a difference to live another day. Your willingness to listen and take initiative shows your concern for all residents. I thank you, and you are truly appreciated!

Janet at Marbella has been absolutely wonderful, and I can’t say enough good things about her. She checks in regularly with my dad and with me, which has brought me an incredible amount of comfort and peace of mind. She truly cares about the residents and takes the time to know each and every one of them personally — that kind of attention and compassion is rare. Having my dad living at Marbella has been such a positive experience, and much of that is because of Janet. Her kindness, attentiveness, and genuine concern make all the difference. Knowing she’s there looking out for him has made this transition so much easier for our family. We are incredibly grateful for her.

What could have been a good living situation for my mother has instead been a stellar experience thanks to assistant director Janet Garcia. She knows every resident and genuinely cares about every person there. She will do anything to help ensure a positive experience for residents and their families. Overall, the staff go above and beyond. Yes, there are problems at Brookdale/now Marbella, but I am hopeful that with the change in ownership, some issues will be addressed (not enough activities, not enough transportation/offerings to the “outside” S Fe community, facility upgrades, food upgrades, etc.).

Janet at Marbella’s and Gracie and Julian from Roadrunner hospice went way beyond helping my mother get out of bed safely. She was able to be pushed in a wheelchair inside the facility and spend a short time outside by their beautiful pond. She had been 6 weeks in bed and when we requested help to move her to a wheelchair they responded quickly. They were all so nice and helpful. We have a beautiful memory to cherish.

Janet & the Roadrunner Hospice team gave our family a Christmas miracle today! They were willing to help us get our mother out of bed where she has been for 6 weeks. We are truly grateful & thankful they were willing to work with us and give us this wonderful memory with our mother! Thanks so much Janet, Gracie & Julian!!!
