Buena Vista Senior Care

In March 2017 we had to move mom from her assisted living home to a facility more suited to her needs. What a wonderful blessing it was to have Buena Vista Senior Care introduced to us. This well designed private home only takes up to 8 residents and we were so happy to find that there was a room available. Buena Vista offers a full line of services which can be tailor made to the resident’s specific needs. With family style dinning, fun activities and beautiful gardens the staff make each resident feel comfortable and special. Speaking of the staff, David pays extra attention to make sure the folks he hires to care for our loved ones have what it takes to give the very best and concerning care of their residents. It was a tremendous relief to mom’s family knowing she was in loving arms. Even in mom’s final days, they never wavered in making mom comfortable. Thanks to Buena Vista Senior Care, Mom spent her final two years surrounded by a happy staff in a beautiful home. My only hope is that when it is time for me to find a place that will take extra special care for me, they will have a room available.

My Mother was a resident at Buena Vista Senior Care for about 2 years before she passed away. She received excellent care. Buena Vista has the cleanest environment my mother lived in while needing a nursing home care. It always smelled clean and her bedding was changed every day. The caregivers were wonderful and my mother received a lot of attention. David ran a very organized home and kept the landscaping in top notch shape. He was always responsive to any requests and kept excellent records. My mother's medications were managed better than anywhere else which greatly improved her well being. There was an excellent doctor who made weekly visits and would come anytime I called for her. There was also a nurse who visited each week and came by whenever needed. I would definitely recommend Buena Vista Senior Care to anyone who has a parent in need!!

My mother has advanced dementia, and has been a resident at Buena Vista for over two years. Since leaving her previous facility, she has become far more interactive, and happy. Having experienced the previous facility, I can see a clear difference in the quality of care, and safety the facility provides. David and his staff clearly care for the residents, and always go the extra mile for their well being, comfort, and happiness. I sleep well at night having my mother in their care. Without reservation, I recommend this facility to anyone needing this type of care.

Buena Vista Senior Care is a wonderful place! The care is excellent, the environment is comfortable, peaceful, and always immaculate. David Apodaca is a caring man and continuously improving the facility. My mother was given excellent care. Many of the caregivers have been there a long time, and they are dedicated to the residents. My sister and I were very particular and hands-on about my mother's care. My mother was in another assisted living facility, but the quality of care was diminishing, and our mother's needs were not being met in an acceptable manner. You will not find a better place for your loved one than Buena Vista!

Our family is so fortunate to have found a home of this quality for our relation. It’s a beautiful home with fresh flowers and artwork. We love to visit on the lovely patio. The house is spacious and comfortable, and immaculately kept. The meals are made in the home and served family-style to encourage social interaction among residents. According to our relation they are healthy and delicious. Rooms are kept neat and privacy respected, but help is a button-push away. The house manager and staff are responsive and caring. My relation receives her medications on schedule and is aided with her hygiene. She is always clean and neat. She is able to choose what interests her to do. She has a private room with all her possessions and can enjoy privacy. She has been seen by the nurse who is on call. I have been confident that our relation is receiving quality care while at Buena Vista.
