CAMPBELL - STONE NORTH PERSONAL CARE

We have a friend who lives here and it seems OKAY, however there's only one pair of elevators (to my knowledge) and no exaggeration - one or BOTH are constantly broken down/closed! They are very old, very slow, and many residents are on walkers &/or wheelchairs obviously so for them, using stairs is not an option. For the amount of money they have to pay for rent, they deserve some new elevators! This complex NEEDS to replace one elevator (100% brand new) at a time ASAP🙏 All staff of the building we've encountered have been pleasant & helpful. Food is not good, many refuse to eat it at all. This is super inconvenient for those who have little to NO money available to buy groceries and even worse for those who are no longer able to physically cook their meals. One additional concern I have is the "repairman/ handyman" people we've come across as well....I don't think there's any affiliation to the neighborhood but for our friend, it appears they overcharge and under deliver....just a fair warning and I'm sure this applies to most senior living facilities: If you have an elderly loved one living solo, please check these workers well! Ensure they're legit, insured, fair pricing, new parts being utilized, etc! They will target and take advantage of them if they don't have anybody to advocate or watch out for them.

My husband and I visited this assisted living facility this morning. We have a friend who is looking for an one bedroom apartment in an assisted living setting. The staff at the reception desk told us there was no one available to give us a tour, rudely telling us we need to make an appointment. When we asked for a brochure of the facility's services and prices, he could not provide one. As a clinical social worker, I know that most assisted living facilities will give you a tour and a brochure if you request one once you walk in the door. This facility has poor customer service, and marketing skills and I will not recommend this facility to my friend.

My mother lives here, and she’s very happy. The staff are professional, caring and creative.

Kind service staff, long wait to become a resident about 14 months!

Air conditioner system for building comes on when outside temp above 63. With outside temp 42 F apt temp 77 and rising. Heat system on, thus no AC. Every time someone below me cooks I feel a heat wave. The higher you are the hotter the apt gets.
