I just admitted mom yesterday, the administrative staff were wonderful. They helped through the whole process. They were very understanding and assisted with noticing mom of the her stay.

When we first got my dad in, we were welcomed by the administrator and given a tour. The place is fairly new, so it was clean and comfortable and beautifully decorated. Both me and my sister, and my dad, really liked the place and felt like it was perfect for him. He was very happy there, the staff were wonderful! They talked with him, danced with him and played for him, the kind of music that he enjoyed listening to. They were attentive to all his needs and treated him like family, with dignity and compassion. Wish I could say the same, for the administrator! We had some concerns and complaints when his room and bathroom weren't as clean as she had told us they'd be. We didn't fault the staff, those poor people are so over worked! We were told that bathrooms get cleaned at night. I'm not sure how, because there is only one person working and they have to cook, clean, do laundry and tend to the residents. It seems like after we complained, we noticed a change in the administrator. She wasn't as friendly to us, and practically ignored my dad. He was happy there for a couple months and then he started to decline. Eventually, he started nearing the end of his life. Again, the staff (CNA's) were all so good with him and made him as comfortable as possible. He had become like family to them and they were very compassionate to him and to our family. He eventually passed away. When my sister and I went the next day to pick up some of his belongings, we could not believe how unprofessional the administrator acted toward us! We had just lost our dad and she didn't even have the decency to give us condolences or say anything to us, for that matter. We never received a phone call or anything from her. We were upset to realize that the kindness she showed us when we moved him in, was just fake! It is a business afterall, and they need to fill those rooms. Again, the CNA's there, are top notch! Very kind, caring, compassionate. The administrator, not so much!
