Casa de Rosa is an amazing assisted living community. The staff are friendly and professional. The grounds and outdoor space is beautiful and the food is delicious. My grandma is very happy living there.

I feel safe that this place is fully vaccinated. It is not that kind of place I give "wow" when I took the first look at it, but I feel so homey and cozy after walking in. I like the caring staff here and the ED is touchable, we decide to send my grandpa in and he accommodates well so far.

So thankful that Casa de Rosa takes care of my family. Attentive, compassionate, and a professional approach during stressful times makes me glad they are here.

Two years ago Casa de Rosa was a wonderful place for my sister. In April of this year the residents were told they would have a new beautiful dining room and kitchen by June 2019. The areas were closed off. It is now November, Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up and my sister continues to have three meals a day in her room. There are two tables with six chairs each available in common areas where residents may eat. There are usually 35-40 residents. There is no remodel as of yet and the area is still closed off. It doesn’t seem fair to the residents and most eat on TV tables in their rooms. The residents deserve MORE! No amenities! No gatherings for fun time! Just sad!

This facility was family owned and operated until about 2015 or 2016. Since then it has become corporate owned, and changed hands a couple of more times. With that came a deterioration in service as staff levels were reduced to unacceptable levels in my opinion. The staff tries to do what they can, but they're easily overwhelmed since this is considered an end of life facility (>50% of residents require more care than assisted living, and would probably be better served in a traditional nursing home). My mom passed away unexpectedly in April 2018 after living in this facility since August 2013. Prior to her death, I had become alarmed at changes in policies and procedures that I felt put her at unnecessary risk, and was considering a change in facilities. My recommendation is to consider this one carefully, and compare it to others (even if the cost is higher elsewhere).
