My two sisters and I placed our mother in Casa Subina Assisted Living (Sun View Drive location) on October 2023, until her death in August 2025. The staff was very caring and friendly, and all her needs were met. We were promptly notified when any instance came up in which we needed to be aware. Her room was cleaned at least once a week. The owner, Anita, was extremely approachable, and rectified any issue we may have had (which was seldom.) We would gladly recommend anybody we know to Casa Sabina.

This bad review is purely for the owner of casa Subina, Anita. When I signed papers in order for my sick grandmother to stay at this home, I was under the impression that the owner was caring & nice .. and that couldn’t be further from the truth. After a few days staying there, my grandmother ended up not liking the place. I let the owner know that we were going to look for other facilities (ones that were cleaner), and while we did find another facility, my grandmother was stubborn and decided to stay because she liked the cna’s Victoria and Jade. It was from that point, the owner Anita, started giving us “the cold shoulder” and was no longer communicative with our family. This review is nothing towards the staff that works there, at all. I appreciate how kind they were to my grandma, but they are spread too thin. As for the house, everything inside definitely needs a scrub down. It stinks, every surface is sticky & dusty, plus the amount of dead bugs on the floor around the house and in my grandmas room which were never cleaned the 3 weeks she was there. Can’t forget to mention that every meal they eat is frozen. But the main reason I wouldn’t recommend anyone send their loved one there is because of the owner. She clearly doesn’t care about the people living in her home, the family of that person or her staff. When my grandmother passed away on 8/12/21 at casa Subina, the owner never even sent my family or I condolences! Not a text, call or card. Nothing. While the cna’s shed tears in front of me for my grandma that night.. That just goes to show someone's true colors. Anita is a money hungry heartless business owner.

I was here for visits several times. A handful of caregivers were solid. They seemed to be the ones moving on. Towards my grandmothers finals months their caregivers were horrible. Anita always had an excuse. We had to threaten with a lawsuit over safety concerns. I would not recommend for a family member.
