My boyfriend lives there and I tell you that he loves it and doesn’t want them people to ever hate him they care about him and he does them they are good people and nice to him. Thank you Ferndale!!!

Meals are not properly balanced. They will not feed you unless it is convenient towards there time schedule. So if you have insomnia, anxiety and/or depression and finally get to sleep, no food for you. They are not even remotely trained for anyone with mental health or trauma issues. There have been multiple time they have been reported to state by other residents and state refuses to do there job. We had a guy hold a knife to a residents throat and nothing really happened other than he lost his job. Then there is the refusal to take action before incidents happen. There was a older gentleman who is now permanently blind because they would not take the appropriate action between him and another resident. Any care residents try to get, the response is "your more than capable and i am not paying them to do that", for example like if a resident wants a clean shave or if residents need extra help occasionally with getting their room cleaned, or if we ask for the bathroom to be cleaned because it has been dirty for over a week. Falsely accuses residents of doing drugs over a false positive blood test. Refusal to hire more staff. Refuses not to treat staff right and wonders why they quit. Constantly steals, loses, or breaks resident property. Inability to be empathetic in any compacity. All about the $ and not about the resident. Admin personal needs to be replaced, and family of owner need to be kept out of facility, very toxic! Talks down and demeans residents all the time. All and all not a good place at all.

Very high with neglect. They don't check up on sick as they should. Do not practice good social distancing with COVID in the building. only when convenient to prevent getting in trouble. Very judgemental and rude administration. Family oriented positions. Owner was nice a long time ago but is now as delusional as some of the people staying in the facility. Do not serve good well balanced meals. No fresh fruit or veggies. All canned. Mostly pastas and starches. Bad for elderly.

Was forced to live here for 2 years since there were no other places open. It's like living in a terrible nursing home with an owner who's verbally abusive and mean to both her residents and staff. She'll call you fat, lazy, and not care to stop abuse from other residents. Do not send your family here. My depression has only hit as low as it did there once before in my life. It was a rough time
