I was there for a year and a half. This place is not at all conducive to healing. I was harassed and attacked passive-aggressively by staff and other residents from the first week and I never knew why. The staff in groups tell you that healthy relationships have boundaries but not to use them while you are there. If you do then you are an intimidating presence. Rather, tell staff what's going on. Then you find out that staff didn't or won't do anything to help the situation. You'll also find that they go against the ombudsman rules in many ways. I could go on and on but a person would have to experience these things to understand what I'm talking about.
