I can’t say enough about the incredible team at Chestnut Knoll. As someone who works closely with families in crisis, having trusted communities that truly prioritize safety and compassion makes all the difference. Today, I received a call from a son who was completely overwhelmed as a care taker. Within a couple hours of reaching out to Julie, Chestnut Knoll completed an assessment, arranged transportation, and welcomed her for a same-day admission. Their only priority was making sure she was safe, and they trusted that the logistics could be sorted out later. They not only step up in urgent moments like this, but consistently show up for their residents every day. Their team is deeply engaged, attentive, and places a strong emphasis on therapy and helping residents maintain or regain function, not just providing care, but truly supporting quality of life. This is what real partnership and real care look like. Moments like this remind me that there are communities out there going above and beyond when families need it most

My fiancé’s grandmother is at Chestnut Knoll. The staff are friendly, helpful, and providing the care that she needs. The food is good / homemade and the building is clean. She is participating in the social activities for fun as well as the therapy sessions for strengthening. I would recommend if you are in need of care for a senior.

My mother and I brought my grandmother to Chestnut Knoll after a fall when she was in an independent living situation. From the moment we inquired about availability, we knew she would be in great hands. Her move into her new home was smooth and welcoming. We, as her family felt welcomed and included as well. Everyone we came into contact with was so kind and professional. They always wanted to help in whatever way they could. Nothing was ever too much. My grandmother has since passed away peacefully, but my mom and I would send her to Chestnut Knoll again; without a doubt. It is an amazing place with an incredible group of people!

My mother moved to Chestnut Knoll last September and was in the Assisted Living area before she had to move to the Memory Care side. It was quite an adjustment for her however the care is exceptional and everyone feels like a family. She is encouraged to participate in activities however usually declines. We recommend Chestnut Knoll to everyone!

My father was an occupant for four to five months, and overall we were very happy with the care that he received. Approval for entry was quick, and he settled in quickly as well. As recommended, he changed from his regular medical provider next door to the visiting service at Chestnut Knoll, and they appeared to be adequate, though information on his condition was rarely directly relayed to the family from them. Communication from the resident staff was good in contrast. My father unfortunately (on his own accord) did not participate in many of the plentiful activities offered, such as day trips, eating out, exercise classes, etc. Overall, during a very difficult time and under difficult circumstances with a client who personally did not want to be there, our family is very happy with the services provided.
