SUNRISE OF ABINGTON

for 13 months. During that time he was cared for by the wonderful staff at Sunrise. He was always asked to participate in activities which he did happily. Anytime a family member visited the staff was warm and helpful. They really addressed his daily needs and were quick to share anything we needed to know. Sadly, he passed away but he didn't suffer. We are so grateful for all that everyone did for Frank and the family. We highly recommend Sunrise to anyone who needs memory care.

I don't have enough grateful praise to the Director and Staff of Sunrise Abington. My aunt is in personal care and has a very nice, clean, cozy apartment. She is well take care of, and especially loved her breakfast meals! She has a circle of friends who dine together and there are many activities to take part in; e.g. jewelry making, recitation of the rosary, visits from string bands, family picnics to name a few of the activities. My aunt loves to read and sometimes sits out in the hallway or on a comfy sofa by the fireplace to read. By far this has to be one of the most caring Senior Living Facilities in the area. My family and I had a wonderful experience at Sunrise. The tour was to the point and easy to follow. The activities were interesting and the calendar was full of activities. Our tour guide Samantha was great. She showed us everything we needed. The rooms were like an apartment just a little different but cosy and comfortable.

Rachel Peters at Sunrise of Abington was such a wonderful resource for our family when we were considering Sunrise. She assisted us in every step of the process and answered questions and concerns immediately, even on the weekends and evenings. She gives you all the relevant information you need or don't even think to ask. Even after my mom was admitted to the facility she follows-up to see how things are going with my mom and how we are doing as a family. I have never experienced this personal attention and dedication at any other facility my mom has stayed in. Honestly Rachel made this experience very comforting and easy for our family. In general the staff at Sunrise of Abington have been great and attentive, but I would definitely suggest working with Rachel in getting your loved one the care they need!

Dad has been living at Sunrise at Abington for just three months (so far) and he has gone through a lot of changes and adjustments (good and bad). The staff at Sunrise have been fantastic, from the lobby, kitchen, and the Personal Care staff, to now, the Memory Care staff! We are very happy to have found Sunrise at Abington for Dad. We highly recommend this Assisted Living facility. Much better than where we moved my father previously. The decor and activities at Sunrise make this a classy place for dad to live out his remaining years.
