CLAIBORNE AT WEST LAKE (THE)

My mother moved in back in September of last year. Since the Claiborne has a salon on site, she tried it out for the first time about a week after moving in. She loved it and LOOKED fabulous. So much so that she left her previous hairdresser (after seeing for over 30 years). Kim Thacker is AMAZING! She always makes my Mom feel welcome and does an incredible job with her hair. Kim always sends me pictures of her after every visit. Just love the care and affection given to Mom only added to the great decision we made to choose The Claiborne.

Our family loves the Claiborne. They take excellent care of our mother. Kim Thaker is the hairstylist in the salon and it is so convenient for mom to walk to her and she carefully washes and styles her hair. She is so personable and sends us pictures when she is done. Mom adores Kim and enjoys her time at the Salon. Kim has fit us in a couple of times at the last minute and we appreciate her and all the staff so much.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude for Ms. Kim Thacker’s genuine kindness, patience, and compassion. Ms. Thacker consistently goes the extra mile—not only by beautifully cutting my mother’s hair, but also by thoughtfully sending a follow-up photo every time. The happiness on my mother’s face says it all. Her smile reflects pure joy, not just from the haircut itself, but from the warmth, dignity, and respect with which she is treated. Ms. Thacker is quite simply exceptional.

Having worked in long-term care for over seven years, I know what quality care and a well-run community should look like — and Claiborne at Westlake truly exceeds expectations. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth, love, and genuine compassion that the staff show to residents and their families. The residents here genuinely look happy, healthy, and well cared for — and that speaks volumes. I even asked one resident how Claiborne managed to have so many good-looking, well-cared-for people all in one place. She smiled and said, “That’s because Claiborne does such a good job caring for everyone.” That simple answer really says it all. The facility itself is beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of those who call it home. I also want to recognize Scott Bedgood, the Sales Manager, who does an outstanding job representing Claiborne. Scott is incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely cares about helping families find the right fit for their loved ones. He takes the time to listen, answer questions, and ensure that everyone feels comfortable and informed throughout the process. His passion for what he does really shines through, and it’s clear that he truly believes in the exceptional care Claiborne provides. If you’re looking for a community that provides outstanding care, strong leadership, and a family-like atmosphere, Claiborne at Westlake is an excellent choice!

My siblings and I took my mom for a tour at Claiborne 2 weeks ago where Billy Hall did a fantastic job answering all our questions and giving us an overview of this amazing assisted living experience. Mom just moved in this week and every single person from staff to residents have been welcoming and kind. We are so thankful we have a beautiful facility like this in Evans. Thank you Billy!
