COLONIAL COURTYARD AT TYRONE

I visit Colonial Courtyard in Tyrone often for my hospice patients, and every time I walk in, I’m reminded why I appreciate this place so much. The staff here don’t just “do their jobs.” They genuinely care. I see it in the way they talk to residents, the patience they show, and the extra moments of kindness they offer without being asked. As a hospice worker, it means everything to know my patients are surrounded by people who treat them with dignity and warmth. The environment is clean, calm, and feels like a true home. Families and visitors are always welcomed with a smile, and the communication and teamwork among staff is something I really respect. It’s comforting to walk into a facility and feel the compassion the moment you step inside. I’m grateful for the way they care for the people I serve, and I would confidently recommend Colonial Courtyard to any family looking for a loving, supportive place for their loved one.

I moved my mother into Colonial Courtyard in May. She is in the memory care unit. I have never experienced such a great unit. I watch staff with the residents and couldn’t be more pleased. The staff is so well taught and trained- I know the care they receive is great, and I know when I’m not there they are in great hands. My parents had been in another facility- I give Colonial Courtyard high praise and would recommend to everyone.

From the very first day, the staff treated her like family, showing compassion, patience, and understanding in every interaction. When my mom’s dementia got to the point that I couldn’t care for her anymore I visited Colonial Court Yard.it was so clean and a beautiful setup the staff was so friendly and caring Mom’s been in their care for going on 5 years and as her dementia progressed and her ability to do anything for herself. Staff has stepped up to make sure she is feed and well taken care of. I can’t say enough about their dedication.your loved one will be treated with respect and dignity.

Colonial Courtyard at Tyrone is amazing. I can’t say enough about the quality of care my mother receives. She feels like she is a “Queen”. She feels very comfortable here. Her room is a nice size and with the help of the staff and our personal touches she feels at home. The staff is tremendous!!! On a scale of 1-10, it is a 10++++++. The entire staff is caring, attentive and extremely patient. We were told from day one, that mom would be part of their family and that is 100% correct. The food is tremendous and we are thrilled to know mom is eating a well balanced diet that also tastes great!! Their communication with families is also amazing! I think this facility goes above and beyond with the activities they provide for the residents. It’s not just the daily activities, they also celebrate special days and holidays!! We found a real gem when we discovered this facility. We no longer worry about our mom because we know she has top notch care at Colonial Courtyard.
