Colonnade Senior Living, The

My father is in the Colonnade now. They are marvelous. If you ask most people they will say the assisted living facilities are all the same, none of them are good. They are not. The Colonnade is above any I have visited or experienced. I cannot say enough good things about them. The staff is loving and kind. They are attentive and know the resident’s names and capabilities. My pop is clean and well taken care of. They do everything they promise. He was in a different facility before the Colonnade and there is no comparison. The Colonnade is well staffed and has a wonderful director. They listen to your concerns and act on any questions. I am so pleased and at peace with my father there. He is safe and well cared for. Best choice for assisted living I have ever seen.

Staff is very helpful, skilled, caring, professional and go out of their way for their residents and family members. The facilities and rooms are kept clean and in excellent repair. There are a variety of morning and afternoon art, crafts, music, games, walking club, etc. activities for the residents. There is a very nice variety of wholesome foods served. Family access to their resident is easy and has few restrictions.

The Colonnade is a wonderful senior living facility. My parents lived there for almost 3 1/2 years and were very well cared for and loved. Their staff is dedicated, kind, compassionate, attentive and responsive. They became our extended family. The many amenities, activities and outings meet all of the needs of the residents, whether medical, physical, social, emotional or spiritual. The facility is clean, well maintained and safe. The Colonnade is truly an exceptional home and community for your loved one.

My mom and dad have lived at the Heritage for three years. I visit them frequently whenever I am in the area, and join them for meals. I have consistently found the staff caring, helpful, and understanding, both to my parents and to all the other residents. My mom and dad frequently say how pleased they are with their home and how friendly the staff are. It is a first-class place and I am very happy that my sisters found this place for them to live.

My mother was in the memory care facility for 10 weeks before she was asked to leave. The facility is a very nice and updated place. The care she received was not as impressive. The nursing staff is not trained to handle any type of memory care issues. Their answer to any challenging normal dementia behavior was to try and dump them in a psych ward at the patient's financial/emotional expense. Be warned! If your loved one is having challenging dementia issues this place is not for them. The Heritage is not qualified to handle difficult situations.
