As family members age or become incapable of their own care the big question is where can they go and receive the care they need and deserve. I have had to help solve this problem on too many occasions. Concordia at the Orchard is just such an extraordinary place. This facility treats their patients with dignity, respect, and the Main ingredient, LOVE. Love is something that can't be faked and the entire staff at the Orchard portrays love and care in everything they do. God Bless The Orchard and all who Serve here

I am one of those picky people who take my responsibilities seriously, including the job of taking care of my elderly parents. And I am a Registered Nurse. When, at age 85, my mom began to be unable to function independently, I ‘stepped up to the plate’ and provided support in those areas where she needed support. Over the next 8+ years I gradually increased my involvement until I could no longer do it by myself. At that point, I had the great blessing of discovering Concordia at the Orchard. Mom took up residency there in August, 2023. I have found The Orchard to be a phenomenal place. From the time I was greeted at the door by the receptionist, and introduced to the on-site administrator, I felt welcomed, and like I was in the presence of people who knew about, and cared about, what they were doing for the residents of their facility. Mom is now 95, and my experience has been to see all of her needs met promptly and correctly by all staff involved in her care: the administrator who is personally involved with the residents and knows them by name; the receptionist who also is involved with and knows personally the residents (she tucks my mom in with blankets when she is sitting in her chair complaining that she feels cold!); the assistants who get her up in the morning and put her to bed at night; the kitchen staff who take extraordinary care to see that her gluten-free diet is well maintained; the physical therapist who works with, evaluates and makes suggestions for keeping Mom at her optimal level of function; the nurses who are on top of her condition and implement the orders given by the very kind, compassionate, thorough and efficient physician on staff; the stylist who keeps her hair looking great; the laundress who cleans her clothes; the wonderful woman who vacuums her room and makes her bed; the head of maintenance who keeps it all rolling efficiently; and the activities people who try to get Mom involved in things to keep her sharp and growing, even though she doesn’t always cooperate! And that doesn’t even mention the lovely residents. You will love the residents, too. Give it a shot!!

I cannot say enough good things about Concordia at the Orchard. From day one of my mother moving in, to the present, she has been treated as family. The entire staff is wonderful to us but even more important is how wonderful they are with the residents. Melissa is always on. From being the person in charge of the entire operation to dealing with resident families to taking personal care of the residents to you name it... I have seen her working in every part of the home and at all hours. She hides the stress well and always has a moment to answer questions and give a kind word. Laura is perfect for her position. She loves the residents and it shows. Always kind, thoughtful and welcoming to everyone! Emily is great as head of nursing. She is always there to ask if we have concerns and update us on our mother's issues. She is so good with the residents and also their families. ALL of the staff from the nurses, aides, activities director, dietary, hairdresser and maintenance man are blessings to my mother and our family. We are thankful and relieved to have our mother in such a caring, safe place!!

Was an employee. Worst facility I have ever worked at. My residents and their families loved me and appreciated the thorough care they often wittnessed me giving. But, Management accuses you of being a liar then accuses you of not doing your work when you did. You are non stop moving from the time you walk in the door til the time you leave, while the other aides who won't help anyone else and sit around in the office chatting. That was my final straw of why i left. Melissa Weichy needs to learn to appreciate her good workers instead of treating them like mud! Cares are so unfair with 2 floors having 12+ cares and one floor had 7 and the person who always worked 7 complained how hard it was and got babied by admin. The admin is more worried about being the young girls friends than their boss. Also the pay really really sucks. You rarely get a lunch break and if u don't take one it's still taken from your pay! I'm making more money elsewhere only being there a month. If your thinking of applying here, my advise is DON'T! This place is so bad for your mental health!!

My father spent the last year of his life at the Orchard and I can’t say anything but wonderful things about the facility. Since I live on the other side of the country and could only come to visit every six weeks or so, I felt like he was surrounded with angels, who were taking care of him, and loving him when I couldn’t.
