Everything about Christian Assisted living has been great, but the most important is the staff. I have not met one person who has not been sincere about my mothers well being and comfort. Communication is great, and any small issue or concern that arises is addressed immediately. All residents are treated with respect, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Cleanliness is exceptional.

My mother in law loved this place because of several reasons. Jessica and Thomas two Nurses, which made her so happy. These two Nurses always made my mom feel so special and made her life so happy. Jessica and Thomas was always bringing her coffee, buying her shoes and doing special favors for her that was not even something that they did not have to do, but took the time and effort to make mom’s life and make her feel so special and happy. Regina who helped her get ready in the mornings and was very good to my mother in law. There was a couple of more that I wish I knew there names…. I am so sorry that I don’t know there names. But, I will have to let you know about a few things that none of the family members were happy about and things that happened that should not have occurred. There was always a big turn over there. Never could keep employees. The office staff was the most issues that we had a problem with. There were so many times that we had to clean our mother’s bathroom and room. We were told and it says in the contract they clean or light clean each week. That never occurred and we had to call the office staff constantly to ask them to clean mom’s room. We also heard complaints from staff members and patients who have lived there for years about the situation they had since living there. The staff member’s tried to get between my mother in law, myself and my wife. We understood that each time there was a turn over that we had to start all over again because of someone new being hired. Above all….I will have to say that we were not that unhappy about things that were happening and going on in the facility. For the most part we were happy and my mother loved it there. One last thing that I would like to say that really upset the Family more than anything this Facility done to our mother and to our Family!!!!!! My mother passed away in the Hospital and there was one Staff member that came to our mother’s room to see her…..we had no idea that she was going to pass. When Kim Meadows came to our mother’s rooms she stayed about a minute or less and the only thing she came for was to let us know that if our mother was going to rehab when she gets out of the hospital that they have Abundant Christian Living that she could go too. But my mother passed away and not one person that worked in the Director’s Department office’s sent a card, called a Family Member or sent flowers to let the Family know how sorry they were. Jessica came to the Funeral, Thomas called us and a few of the patients came up to us and Amy the head of nursing said they were sorry when we went to clean mother’s apartment out. But, not one of the Office Staff said or even acknowledged that my mother even lived there. Even when we talked to Steven who is a receptionist, who answers the phone, he never said a word about my mother or said how sorry he was that my mother had passed… after me saying I would bring a key back to him. Oh one more thing that I would like to let you know….. My mother dressed very nice and had a nice apartment. We left my mother’s electric lift chair for them to give to someone there and left a Portable Potty for them to give to someone who needed one. Plus all of my mother’s nice clothes and brand new shoes that my wife just bought her. Several new Skechers shoes that she never got to wear. So many things that my mother would have been so proud that we had done and left for the Friends and Families that she had met and knew. We were so happy that we could do this for them. We never received a thank you card from any of the Director Staff for any kindness that we loved doing for the community that lived in there. I hope that it all went to the patients that lived there and it helped a lot of people there. Jessica, Thomas and Regina and a little Blonde headed girl that gave mother her baths when she took one…..sorry I don’t remember your name. She loved you all so much! Thank you for being so kind, thoughtful, caring and loving to my mother. We miss her so much.

Staff were as attentive as possible. They appeared consistently short handed. Upper management changed at least 3 times in a year. Unable to retain maintenance staff, likely due to lack of enough staff. Charge extra for bringing meals to room. Residents should be able to enjoy meals in dining area or their own room at no extra charge. Room charges changed twice in a year. Need some stability with staffing.

This assisted living takes such good care of my family member there. The facility smells good and not like most facilities. We don't have to worry about her if she has a medical issue. They will assess the situation and call an ambulance if needed and alert family. She is allowed to have her two cats with her, which makes her beyond happy. The laundry is washed, starched, folded, and always returned without needing to write her name on every piece of clothing. Medication is managed efficiently and given at reasonable times. Transportation can be planned through net trans for appointments if they are able to go alone. We love the peace of mind we have with our family member staying here. Our only concern is with the company keeping/ finding enough staffing.

Loving staff; treats everyone like family. Residents will talk to you if you tour the building! They love visitors! Beautifully landscaped building with a large fenced in courtyard that the resident enjoy daily! Pet friendly; activities seven days per week. Staff work hard to try and make sure everyone is taken care of.
