My life was nightmare before coming here. The cottages saved my life. It gave me a comfortable and positive environment to live in. The groups are really good. Art class was my favorite but there is a solid list of groups to choose to go to. The Nurse that administers your medication in independent living is a really nice lady and always made it a great experience. Also my roommates in my house were really good guys and it was fun to watch a movie or play video games with them. I had a really good experience here. I would recommend this to anyone’s child or for themselves that needs care. This place will really provide the help. Independent living worked great for me. Thank you so much to the owners.

Our independent housing program at The Cottages of Mountain Creek is designed to support clients transitioning from intensive mental health treatment to a more autonomous lifestyle. While we provide a supportive environment, clients are responsible for maintaining their own living spaces, and we encourage cleanliness and personal responsibility. Having been a part of The Cottages of Mountain Creek for over three years, I can attest to our commitment to providing a safe, clean, and supportive environment for our clients. The images shared in the recent post do not reflect the conditions we uphold. It’s important to note that the individual mentioned is not a participant in our program. We acknowledge that no community is without its challenges, and we continuously strive for improvement. Our long-term clients have consistently expressed satisfaction with their living conditions, and we remain dedicated to ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Please be aware that this company Cottages on Mountain Creek will try to get big lump sum of money with no intention on being there for your loved one. Make sure you have an ironclad contract with them prior to giving them any money. This is a scam don’t trust them if they don’t tell you exactly what they accept from your insurance. Again, they try not to disclose the exact cost. Make sure you have a very tight contract with these people. They are scammers and they care nothing about their clients well-being.

This is an update to a review I wrote in September, 2019. Andy will be reaching a milestone in his stay at the Cottages on Mountain Creek, four years in November 2022. He has become more sociable, has enjoyed independent living, and has developed new interests. Right now he likes to collect coins and gardening. The backyard of his home is perfect for this! The Cottages on Mountain Creek offers an array of activities, provides healthy meals, and fosters good communication between parents and administration. This is essential for the improvement of the client. Andy's treatment team listened to the COVID guidelines and did a fantastic job with their clients during the lock down. Andy never got COVID and got fully vaccinated. Therefore, the Cottages on Mountain Creek has been instrumental in Andy's progress.
