COUNTRY MEADOWS OF ALLENTOWN

Our family could not be more grateful for the exceptional care my uncle receives at Country Meadows. From the very first visit, we were impressed by the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the outstanding professionalism of the staff, especially Kristie Lewis. Every member of the team—from caregivers to administration—goes above and beyond to make residents feel safe, valued, and at home. At our initial tour of the facility, we were impressed how the friendly staff addressed each resident by name, with a smile. The facility is beautifully maintained, which immediately sets a tone of comfort and dignity. It’s clear that cleanliness and safety are top priorities, and that gives our family tremendous peace of mind. One of the things we appreciate most is how the staff genuinely cares for the residents as individuals, taking the time to understand their needs, preferences, and personalities. The staff is always willing to speak to family members and answer any questions. Country Meadows also offers a wonderful variety of activities, social events, and enrichment opportunities—from arts/crafts and games to exercise and outings—ensuring residents stay engaged and connected. The communication with families has been exceptional. Even before placing our uncle into the facility, Kristie and Kim emailed, texted and called to check in with the family. It truly feels like a partnership built on trust and respect. Overall, Country Meadows provides not just a place to live, but a community of kindness, compassion, and connection. We’re very thankful for the care and attention our uncle receives and would highly recommend this residence to anyone seeking the very best environment for their family member.

My brother and I were in need for an assisted-living facility for our father in short notice. Country Meadows administrative staff were efficient and expedient in this difficult process. They made the entire process seamless during a stressful period in our lives. I was fortunate to help my dad get settled for a couple of days and meet the staff. From housekeeping, medical technicians, culinary staff to the nurses and providers caring for him I could tell my dad was in good hands. This is comforting because these decisions to have strangers care for loved ones is difficult. It’s nice that they have a medical team to include a Physician Assistant to Registered LPN’s and RN’s to Occupational/Physical Therapist on site! This convenience makes us feel even more reassured about our dad’s care. I hope this honest review helps those looking for a family care facility. It’s been approximately a month now, and if anything changes I’ll update this post. We are pleased with their compassionate care so far!!

I personally have not been there, but I drive for LYFT. I had to drop off an employee. She was super sweet and while I was dropping her off, there was an older, elderly woman who was a resident of the facility in a coach trying to leave and two workers without code we’re trying to catch up with her Which they did and they were trying to talk to her, and then after I dropped off the employee, I started to drive out and they had the woman stopped, and they were rubbing her back and it was clear that the woman. Was crying and very sad that she had to be there, but the workers were genuinely sincerely sad and you could tell by the expressions on your face and the warmth of the way that they were rubbing this woman’s back that they really really felt bad for her and it was just such a touching moment. I wanted to cry.

The facility is extremely well kept. The additional services such as transportation to medical appointments is very valuable and well organized. The residents are friendly and supportive. There are organized activities that allow for exercise as well as game playing that keep us busy when desired. I highly recommend Country Meadows!

Words cannot express the relief and gratitude our family felt when my mother-in-law transferred to Country Meadows of Allentown. She had come from a facility that, unfortunately, did not provide the compassion or quality of care she deserved. From the very first day at Country Meadows, the difference was overwhelming. It was like a weight had been lifted off our shoulders. The Memory Care team embraced her with patience, dignity, and genuine kindness. The nurses and aides treated her as if she were their own family, and the Director of Nursing was always available to listen and answer any concerns we had, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. For the first time in a long time, we felt a sense of comfort knowing she was truly safe, valued, and loved. Country Meadows of Allentown not only met our expectations but also gave us hope and reassurance during one of the hardest times in our lives. We will always be deeply thankful for the exceptional care and compassion they provided.
