When Mom broke her hip a little over 4.5 years ago, she could no longer live in her own home. After a short stint in a nursing home to recover enough to move into an assisted living facility, we moved her into Courtyard Estates. She has been well taken care of. They serve 3 good meals each day with some substitutions if the resident doesn't care for something on that day's menu. They offer up activities for anyone who wants to participate. It is a very clean and well kept facility. It's always hard for anyone to suddenly realize that they can no longer live at home. We are thankful we were able to place Mom in this facility. We appreciate the staff that works to keep our loved one comfortable and safe. We visit often, and Mom seems happy to be there. Thanks for all you do. Stan Brown

In the interest of full disclosure, I am the director of CYE Farmington, but it is the team of people here that make us who we are! When my grandfather passed away, my family grappled with where to take my grandmother. It seemed obvious to place her at CYE, but being a lifelong Peoria resident, Fulton County was a bit out of her comfort zone! Regardless, she ultimately decided this is where she wanted to come, and I really had no hesitation bringing her here. She made fabulous relationships with both the other tenants and with the staff. She was always conscious of who was doing what and did not want to receive any special treatment because she was my grandma. Honestly, I have to say that she probably did, but that special treatment is/was not limited to my grandma in particular.... our staff treats all of our tenants with that same special treatment; it really does resemble an extended family, and when I left to go home, I was totally comfortable and confident my grandmother would be absolutely taken care of. She became "grandma" to everyone , and for that, I will be eternally grateful. It is such a pleasure to lead this amazing team in this beautiful facility!

Courtyard Estates of Farmington is a real blessing for our city and for our family. My mother, a current resident, loves her new home. She is safe and cared for in a kind and supportive environment. The facility is beautifully furnished, and arranged to encourage socialization. It is very family and visitor friendly. We appreciate all they do and encourage everyone to visit.

Our mom was at CYE of Farmington in assisted living and soon went to Betty's Garden. Both experiences were very good. The staff is incredible. And I mean nurses, cleaning, food prep servers etc. They are caring, loving just down home sweet! Our mom passed away in Courtyard, and they let her die with dignity. They were not only there for her needs, but for ours. They checked on our family constantly. Very thankful that they let mom stay there in hospice. And the nurse that punched out in the middle of the night and sat with our family until the end will forever be in our hearts. That was true dedication and love.

My mother has been in assisted living for sometime now and last November we were challenged to find a safe place for her to live as she has dementia. The search was challenging as many places were full, had a waiting list or stated they were not secure enough for her needs as it was reported she wandered. I contacted Farmington Courtyard and within a couple of days my mom was moved into Betty’s Garden, a secure dementia facility. The facility is beautiful. She has her own room but the residents have a combined living room and dining facility they share. The living room facility has a big screen tv and beautiful fireplace. The room is decorated per holiday season. They all eat together in the dining area as if they were home. The facility is limited to the number of residents so their care can be carefully monitored. Since November I have to say these residents and aids have become my second family. I visit my mom on Sundays and Wednesdays but Wednesday is my day to really visit and socialize with the residents. God knew where mom needed to be and I can rest assured she is in a safe place and a nice place she is deserving of. Thank you Farmington Courtyard for taking good care of my mom.
