Creekside at Three Rivers

My mom had to move into Creekside because she had cancer and the treatments beat her body down where she could not walk or take care of herself anymore. Clean, nice facility, pretty good food, this has it but We struggled with putting her into a facility until the day we were moving in and Rebekah came in who is a care worker and she greeted mom and asked if she needed anything right then. For a year and a half they cared and loved on mom; they made it home and That is why this place is great . She has gone on to Heaven now but we are so thankful for the care they gave her.

In the beginning, this place was amazing! The staff was amazingly warm and friendly. After several months there were major changes to the staff attitudes and demeanor. We started noticing new staff every visit. We would ask about our loved one and couldn’t get answers. We were told “I’m new, I don’t know much about them”. This place is always short staffed. You have 12 rooms to one house, which means 12 people live there. Along with that, there was one CNA present trying handle all 12 patients. You rarely see a nurse. If you want to see the nurse, they have to be called. Forget seeing a Doctor and asking questions, because you will wait all day. This place is irresponsible to say the least. They lose patients clothing, bedding, jewelry, shoes and so on. You are advised to write the patients name and room number on the clothing, bedding and all personal items. Does this truly help?? NO!!! We purchased our loved one brand new clothing, within days, it was all missing! We purchased new bedding, it’s missing. No where to be found at all!! I could write more reasons why not to place your loved one in this facility. It’s clear that no matter how many times you bring this to the attention of the staff, nothing changes. Talk about meals. The people that live in these facilities are severed foods that they don’t like and won’t eat. Serving elderly people Cesar salads with hotdogs, potato salad with turkey sandwiches, and coleslaw with grilled cheese. The diet plan needs to be re-advised. Never again will anyone in my family be in placed in the facility.

I had a tour scheduled and the assisted living was beautiful. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Very clean and welcoming. The apartments are nice and up to date. The pricing is all inclusive. If you plan on moving in a loved one I recommend Creekside assisted living.

This is the most beautiful assisted living that I have seen so far. When i walked in the building I felt welcomed & seen lots of smiling faces on the residents. They have multiple activities everyday which I love! They also have a great chef, the food I can eat every day. All around great group of staff!

Our family tried to make this place a home for my grandmother for 9 months. The management is disorganized and poorly trained. The facility is too large and the staff too overworked and uneducated to put the residents first. The bottom financial line is the focus of the facility. If you choose to put a loved one here, watch them closely and pay attention to them. Do not think all of their needs are being met, as the facility does not employ enough people who want to/can care properly for the residents, specifically those in the outrageously priced memory care unit. My grandmother's room was rarely cleaned. It was never disinfected. The place looks nice initially, but only because it is new. Really look and pay attention and you will see how dirty it is. The meals are served cold and are poor quality. The residents in memory care are often dirty and disheveled. Please, please do not leave your loved ones in the care of Creekside, especially if they are severely impaired, unless you can hire a sitter or be very present for them.
