Excellent! We searched high & low for this fabulous place for mom. In a beautiful neighborhood. She loves it here. They let her bring her kitty. These people REALLY DO CARE! They are highly responsive, professional, and know the business. The place is clean, calm, and nicely maintained. The food is very good! Lots of fun activities, awesome medical staff & kind caregivers. Other residents are very welcoming.

I want to share our recent experience with Cura Vistas. My mother is one of the many displaced residents from Eastern Star Masonic Campus. As you can imagine, this has been a very overwhelming time not only for my mom, but for me as well. My mom has been at Eastern Star Masonic Retirement Community) for 2 years. A wonderful 2 years! Finding a new home for her has been very challenging. Enter CuraVistas. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by Jamie (Executive Director). Her calm and sweet demeanor were so much appreciated! She and Susan sat us down, talked about the community and then took us on a tour. Along the tour, we saw several employees that were equally as kind! Jamie was so clear and concise in explaining everything to us!! I know the community has been OVERWHELMED with the issue at ES, but I never felt rushed by Jamie. (I have no idea how she was able to be so cool, calm and collected. I was a mess!!) We are looking forward to moving mom in this weekend! We are so grateful to Cura Vistas for welcoming the ES residents and their families!! Susan Johnson Denver, Co

Where do I begin. My father became a resident with the understanding that they were accepting Medicaid Spend Down residents. The ownership then changed and at that time I was assured that this change would NOT change their acceptance of Medicaid & Spend Down residents, so we continued to spend my father's money for 3 more months with this facility. Anyone who is helping a loved one with a spend down they know that every month spent counts. Fast forward to July of 2023 when I find out that the new owners are in fact NOT going to accept medicaid and advise all spend down residents to get to work on finding new accommodations. Now with 6 months of funds remaining we had the challenge of finding housing that would accept him beneath the 12-18 months of funds required to be considered for other facilities. Additionally to that, they still wanted to require 30 days notice!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They did eventually waive this after I threatened them with seeking assistance from an elder attorney. Fast forward again to November 2023, I receive a check made out to ME - my father was the lease signer - and this check was unsigned by the account holder making it void. I emailed them when I received the check and didn't hear back until 12/29/23 when I was told they wouldn't reissue until they received the other check. I had let them know that I was 99% sure I'd shredded the check and was packing for a move so I didn't have access to my father's file to see if I still had it. I recently found the check and asked them to reissue again which is what sparked my memory to write this review. This place was great before the change in ownership, after...it went downhill quickly. Nearly everyone who worked there left or was fired in the ownership change and the residents my father was friends with were all disappointed to see that things were changing for the worse; the food, the activities, the cleanliness and care for room and laundry went way down. What could they have done differently for us? Transparency with the possibility that they may no longer accept Medicaid would have been all we'd needed. We could have made an informed decision to duck out early and find my father a place that he had a little more say in, instead we had to settle with who would take him, making his quality of life decline and thus affecting his overall health, made worse by the stress of a move. Their reasoning behind the lack of transparency is not known leaving me only to assume they wanted money as long as they could get it from folks. A deplorable and nefarious way of dealing with people on fixed income and in their final years of life. There is nothing wrong with private pay facilities, the Novellus people wanted theirs in this transition and gave very little care to those residents who were on a spend down or already on Medicaid. I don't know how these folks sleep at night and I hope that despite their disgusting actions towards others none of them reach this same fate when the time comes for their own elder care needs. You are in the business of serving people in the final years of their life; you know better how to treat these folks so I hope for the sake of your current and future residents you all do much better by them than you did by my father.

Our family recently moved our mother into Novellus Cherry Creek and we’re so thankful that we found them. Throughout the entire move-in process the team at Novellus has been with us every step of the way. From day one we were met with a welcoming atmosphere and the staff always greets us with smiles and are eager to assist in any way possible. Novellus also takes the time to get to know each individual, understanding their preferences, needs, and concerns to provide tailored care and support. For us, our mother loves to garden and the staff is making arrangements for her to plant flowers in their outdoor garden space this Spring. We feel very fortunate to have found Novellus!

I’m helping my grandfather transition into assisted living and Novellus was one of the first facilities I encountered in my research for something that was affordable and did not compromise quality. I was blown away by how warm and welcoming Maggie was! She was so communicative and helpful in ensuring that we were always on the same page and aware of what an assisted living environment entailed. This place was my number one choice and if my grandfather had not been firm on where he wanted to be location wise (he’s lived in Littleton my whole life and this is where he wanted to stay) we would have moved forward to come to Novellus! Everyone we met was so friendly and inviting. On the tour with Maggie, it was apparent how much care and support goes into the residents at Novellus to ensure their comfort and happiness while simultaneously empowering both residents and their families! This facility is a hidden gem! If you like the Cherry Creek area and are searching for the best next chapter in your loved ones life, call Maggie!
