I struggled for months to make a decision about moving my mother from Georgia so that she’d be closer to me. Transferring her to Dominion Senior Living was the absolute best decision I made! From the first time we walked in the door to tour the facility, the staff was exceptionally kind, courteous, and compassionate. My mom was in the Memory Care Unit, and over the few months she was there it almost felt like home. Everyone from the leadership, nurses, aides, dining room staff and activities staff made an effort to truly know each resident and their families. I can think of many names of staff that treated my mom and us like family. There are so many that I know I’d forget someone, so I’ll leave it at that. I always knew when I left there that my mom was safe and treated with respect and compassion . As someone with first hand experience of other facilities , I can honestly say that Dominion was above and beyond anything we had experienced before. After my mom passed and we left there for the last time, my husband actually said it felt like we were leaving family, and he was right. I miss seeing “my girls” and will forever be grateful that they were there in my mom’s final months. She could not have been in better hands and hearts! Sincerely, Teresa Wilder

Our experience with Dominion Senior Living was nothing short of extraordinary. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure my mother-in-law was not only safe and well cared for, but also treated with dignity and respect. The facility itself was always clean, bright, and inviting — a place that felt more like home than a healthcare setting. What touched our hearts the most was how the staff handled the final days of my mother-in-law’s life. We stayed with her around the clock during her last week, and the compassion we received during that time was something we will never forget. The caregivers and team members showed us so much love and support — they continuously checked on us, prayed for us, and made sure we had everything we needed. Their grace and gentleness during that incredibly difficult time brought so much peace to our family. Dominion Senior Living is a special place. It’s more than just a senior care facility — it’s a community filled with people who lead with love and serve with purpose. We will forever be grateful for the care and compassion they gave our loved one and our entire family.

I helped my Aunt when she moved to Dominion almost a year ago. She's 96 years old. I live 350 miles away and strongly considered getting her to move closer to my home. However, Athens TN is her home and she wanted to stay, so I agreed. It was the right decision! The staff at Dominion has been so good to her and for her. They encourage her but also respect her privacy and her decisions. They do a great job but they do more - they CARE. Dominion has become her home, and the staff and other residents have become her substitute family. I'm so grateful that she is safe and receiving the assistance she needs.

Me and my two young boys made a visit with a group of other children to spend some time with the seniors and paint rocks recently! We had fun! First impression walking in was so welcoming. It’s a beautiful facility and the women working were so pleasant. We enjoyed our time spent, thank you for having us!

I’ve been in healthcare for many years and I’m VERY impressed! This building is beyond gorgeous! All of the residents seem so happy, well kept and actually participating in activities. The Activities Director (Alissa) invited me to the “Bean Auction.” We all had a blast! The residents told me how their day is just filled with activities, and that is hard to find! The food was EXCELLENT as well 👏. GREAT EXPERIENCE! I would definitely recommend to anyone who has a family member needing a place to call home! 😍
