Cannot say enough good about this memory care facility. The staff care about the residents and are upbeat, positive people who make the residents feel happy and secure by "going with" whatever errant thoughts those with memory disorders might be saying. They use humor or distractions if needed but leave the residents feeling happy instead of correcting them. Activities until 8 p.m. at night keep the residents socially engaged. The circular shape of the room with meals and activities in the center encourages those who live there to be social and not isolated in their rooms. Staff go out of their way to help entertain children visiting residents, offer coffee to visitors, make it feel like a home!
