Eden Retirement Center, Inc

My experience with Eden and staff is different than others. I lived in a Garden Home for 7 months and during that time and a rain storm water came into my bedroom 4 feet and soaked the carpet. Yes they did furnish a fan to dry the carpet, but no staff contacted or showed concern. Also they have not updated their contract which has many errors. Furthermore, they do not return telephone calls (one reason explained is mine is long distance). In addition, to not returning my calls, I have not received my deposit of $3500 back. I turned my keys and garage remote into the office on October 30 and have not had any response as to when I will receive my deposit back.

My husband was here from May 16 to June 10. The care he received was so compassionate and professional. The nurses, physical therapists and aides were extremely caring and when he was placed on hospice they were so understanding and even more helpful. When my husband passed away, I received so many hugs from so many at Eden Village. They really comforted me and eased my pain. Thank you so much to everyone there.

This is the best nursing home around. The staff are some of the best. There is great communication and they make sure taking care of the residents is their top priority. The residents are happy and taken care of that is the main thing! I would recommend to anyone who is in need of rehab, long term care and/or a dementia unit. The facility is currently remodeling and it is looking better all the time.

My dad recently stayed at Eden in the memory care wing due to a broken shoulder from a fall and the complexities of Alzheimer’s. Our initial apprehension for placing him in a skilled care facility (for the first time) was eased quickly. This was due to the intentional and caring demeanor of the staff in the memory care wing. We quickly felt peace in leaving him with them and knowing he would be okay when we weren’t there visiting. Overall, we are grateful for the care my dad had in the Eden memory care wing where he also had access to physical therapy, restorative care, activities/time outside, good food, and social stimulation. Much gratitude from our family for the staff in the memory car wing.

What a wonderful facility! My aunt was on hospice and got to the stage that she needed nursing care at the very end of her life. We were upset to have to move her to a nursing home because she did not want to go to a nursing home. But once she arrived at Eden Village, she never complained once. The staff, from the nurses to the aides to the custodial staff, was amazing. Everyone was so caring and did their best to be sure that my aunt was comfortable and even went our of their way to make sure our family visiting her was comfortable, as well. We cannot thank them enough . Keep doing what you are doing! You are awesome! Don't let the age of the facility deter you. The administration is working hard to update the facility in phases.
