The Ellen Kennedy Living Center is a fantastic place. I can’t say enough great things about the staff, facilities and overall experience we’ve had there for dad. To know he is getting the best possible care and whatever help he needs, while still allowing him to be as independent as he can is so great. Absolutely 5 stars. I’m thankful every day we’ve found such an amazing place.

We rated EKLC 5 stars as everything about this place is wonderful! The staff are friendly, caring and respectful. They go above and beyond when caring for our loved ones. Our mom loved everything about EKLC. Her apartment was comfortable and cozy. There was great entertainment and so many fun activities and outings! Card games, puzzles, movies and crafts are some favorites! The meals are yummy too and you always felt special when it was your birthday! You feel at home when you are at this amazing place! God bless each of you!!

Ellen Kennedy Living Center is a caring facility with excellent staff. The building is always neat, clean, and uplifting. Meals are well-planned and nutritious. And the hair salon is operated by a very talented hair dresser. Activities and events are great for all the residents.

At 72 years of age, technically I/we do not need the benefits afforded by Independent or assisted communal living. I/we moved here (Independent living) because we have always said, "it is better to jump than be pushed". Kind of tongue in cheek, but very, very true. There are quite a few facets to my review, but I will try my darndest to keep it brief. First and foremost, the staff here has been superb. Not only do we see kindness, gratitude, and a helping hand to others who need more help than we do, but even the interaction between staff members is professional and at the same time joyful all in the same breath. The administration must be doing something right because the overall sensibility here for everyone, at least in our experience and what we have observed has been very very cheerful. The food is excellent, the activities, while not necessarily geared toward my age group are plentiful and I/we have found that both administration and the activities directors have been more than open to the thought of activities geared towards what I consider myself to be, a younger resident. The dining room staff, the housekeeping staff, the maintenance crew, and pretty much anybody else providing ancillary services here has, as well, been excellent and responsive. Always quick with a smile, a joke, or just a hug. I remember my college days being a similar experience but without having to maintain a good grade point average. Haha! We definitely made the right decision to become part of this community and commend all the people involved to make this an easy transition for us. Kudos to you all!

Ellen Kennedy staff goes the extra mile to get to know their residents and their families. The staff always went above and beyond to make our dad feel safe and comfortable, even adjusting care when his needs changed. They are ALL exceptional, from the director all the way down, and we consider them " family"!
