Harlan Morris - A Retirement Community of St. John's Community Services

My Mother, Rene Coleman moved into Harlan Morris in April 2025. This was absolutely the best and perfect place for her to be. Harlan Morris’s grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The staff is awesome and they take wonderful care of Mom. The residents are nice and they all seem to have a wonderful time when together. The beautiful front porch with all the rockers is just one of Mom’s favorites. If you are ever searching for a safe and caring place for a loved one or even for yourself I highly and honestly recommend Harlan Morris.

My mom (Mollie Moore) moved in December of 2023. I see a new sense of independence and joy that has been restored in her. My dad’s passing in 2020, two broken hips and other health issues have been difficult for her. I’m so thankful that she has her friends at Harlan Morris. It’s nice to have people with similar experiences to talk with, go shopping with and eat with. It gives me peace knowing that someone is with her when we can’t be there. Plus, she’s having fun! Harlan Morris is a great place for your aging loved ones who are still able to live alone, but thrive when they get that extra boost of confidence this retirement community gives them!

Harlan Morris Retirement Community is by far the most beautiful facility of its kind in West Tn. The wonderful new owners have renovated the entire building and everything is brand new. There is a paved walking path around the park-like grounds for those nice days. The staff is top notch with caring and loving hearts. The Administrator has many years of experience and is extremely knowledgeable. Her first priority is always the well being of each resident. They have wonderful meals, lots of fun activities and a feeling of community there. I highly recommend!

When you walk through the door at Harlan Morris, you feel the warmth and love of home. Every staff member is friendly, caring, and respectful. The facility is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the entertainment and activities are most enjoyable for the residents, as is often witnessed by their laughter or singing. It is a blessing for our family knowing that our dad is getting the best possible care while maintaining his independence. Harlan Morris Retirement Community is second to none!

My mother was a resident at Harlan for almost 2 years. She was well cared for and happy, enjoying the meals and activities very much. I visited often, but their dependable staff noticed changes in her behavior and health even before I did. I am so thankful that they were there for us during that time, and I definitely recommend Harlan Morris for anyone searching for a retirement home for themselves or their loved ones.
