Sarah and Hannah are absolutely amazing!! They have some awesome ideas and are extremely engaging with everyone! They have hreat ideas for fun and are over the top with energy and enthusiasm.

I have a friend in Memory Care at American House. She doesn’t have dementia, but has had strokes which make it difficult for her to talk or use her hands. Her mind is extremely sharp and she comprehends at a very high level. She walks very well. Hannah M at American House works in Memory Care there. I have observed her over the last few months and see how she cares for patients and tries to make life more meaningful, better, and prettier for them. She is always cheerfully meeting the needs of people who are not able to communicate their own needs. She treats each one with tenderness and respect. She even takes pictures of patients and sends them to family members so they can share some experiences of their loved ones. One big happy family! My friend didn’t feel well yesterday and was in bed. When Hannah came in to check on her, we were able to watch her in action and ask her questions. We learned so much that Hannah does. She even takes patients out to get manicures and pedicures. She takes them out to eat in restaurants. She takes them to shows. She takes them to the Dollar store, etc. I was so thrilled to know that my friend is still getting to experience life outside the walls of her assisted living. I also found that Hannah encourages my friend to assist her when working with other patients. My friend is able and loves to do what she can to help others. Hannah gives meaning to her life. This just a little picture of what I see at American House. If you are looking for a place that genuinely cares for the wellbeing of you or a loved one, I highly recommend American House on Gleason Road.

I let time pass, so I can post something not so harsh. Time heals but the truth still stands out. I should have moved my mother out to another memory place that kept their word,and didn't spout so many false promises. The employees changed often. Prices will go up often too and care will go down. Please think of other places for loved ones with memory care.

Very nice place. My father is going to love it. Staff is very nice and helpful. Does not give the assisted living vibe at all. Smells nice too!

The facility has been recently updated and looks fantastic, always smells nice, and is bright and cheerful! The staff I interact with are kind and helpful, and the residents appear happy and content.
