what is beef?

My mother was there at 97 years of age until she passed at 99. My experience, and I usually showed up at lunchtime, was the staff was attentive, probably overworked, the food was good. The facility is not in the best area of Escambia county, but it is gated, secure and has good outdoor space for residents. I believe it has new owners but they took good care of my mom

Filthy!! Lack of staff! Food is rice & chicken! Repeatedly! Overpriced!

Tried to get some information for a client of mine from Payton (Administator) hung up the phone on me. When I asked about pricing.

My mother-in-law resides at Emerald Gardens. The staff is pleasant and caring, and make every attempt to keep the units clean. They have had issues with the food served; my MIL says she has been served some "creative" meals such as "pepperoni casserole" and hot dogs and beans served as a casserole of a layer of beans, layered with french fries and topped with hot dogs. However, I have not tasted it myself and know my MIL has selective tastes; also, a new cook has been hired. Overall, if your loved one must live in assisted living, this is a great facility. Family-oriented and friendly.
