Emerald Place

Mom is treated well, she is clean/bathed, and fed when necessary. The staff is always very accommodating and they seem to go the extra mile. It’s a relief to know that she is well cared for. Thank you, Emerald Place. 1/8/26… long story short, I haven’t seen Mom this happy in 5 years. Staff continue to engage residents on so many levels. Have included a pic from ELVIS’ bday party this week-so fun. Still the same at EP; laundry NEVER lost, moms clean & wearing her own clothes. She’s eating and walking, etc.-this place is incredibly great! TY Emerald Place!!!

Emerald Place is great. The facility is comfortable and clean. Emerald Place focuses specifically on memory care residents and their needs. They have activities to keep residents engaged and staff tailor activities to individuals skill levels so no one is left out. (They keep the residents busy and having a good time- ask to see the schedule.) All the residents are kept clean and are put together. The food is tasty- (I tried several meals). I even saw some of the management in the dining room helping residents that needed assistance. I felt a sense of community among the staff. Sue (CRD) told me that they look at the responsibility of taking care of your loved one as an honor & privilege. After hanging around for a bit, I truly believe that sentiment. I truly feel like all of the staff really care for the residents and want them to feel seen, heard & respected. Thank you Sue, Christina, Ashley, Jamie, Kirby, and everyone who helped us get our mother settled in. I have peace of mind mom is happy, healthy, and in a really supportive community. Emerald Place has exceeded our expectations. If you want your loved one treated with dignity and respect this is the place.

My mother-in-law has been at Emerald Place in Glenview for 8 months, and we couldn't be happier. The staff are truly incredible-caring, attentive, and dedicated to making sure residents feel safe and supported. We've had such a wonderful experience that I decided to move my own mother from Florida so she could join my mother-in-law here. They were able to give my mom a room across the hall from my mother-in-law, At 95 and 96, both are thriving and doing great, which speaks volumes about the quality of care and compassion at Emerald Place. We are grateful to have found this community for our family.

I would like to commend the staff, nurses and caregivers of Emerald Place in Glenview on their warmth, care and empathy to not only those in their care, but also to their family members. It’s a beautiful and clean facility. They have a calendar each month of daily activities for the residents to keep their minds and bodies active. Each time I visited my mother at Emerald Place, I was greeted by a smile or even a hug. If staff saw me coming down the hallway to visit mom, they would come and tell me how her day was going. I truly appreciate the attention they offer. I would not hesitate to recommend Emerald Place in Glenview to anyone.

Emerald place was wonderful to my father. We moved him there after 3 years of home health hospice. It was a difficult transition for my mother who was his primary caregiver. Sue was so kind and accommodating to her. She understood this was a big move for us also. She helped make the move so much easier for the entire family. All of the staff at emerald place was so good to my dad and our family. The meals were amazing, the activities fun and engaging and caregivers and nurses loving and respectful. I can’t say enough good things about our entire experience. Thank you emerald place for making my dad’s time there filled with kindness, grace and peacefulness.
