Great environment. Administrator, Victoria, is incredibly helpful. Love the residential neighborhood. Friendly place to live.

Victoria is a two faced backstabber. Sofia and Sandy from Horizons are verbally abusive and refuse to keep their kitchen up to codes forcing cooks to serve moldy produce and outdated meats and canned goods. Dori from Mercy Care allows certain members of her staff to call other worker's names and threaten them because she doesn't want to take action against an immigrant. Residents are scared to speak out about the way they are treated because they have been told if they complain they will be evicted. The residents are absolutely wonderful! The management is absolutely horrible! 🖓😝

While living at Emmerson, I often felt like I was walking on eggshells. The nurse was a compassionate and caring person but the director was cold and never took my word for anything. She called me a liar. I always felt uncomfortable around her. I had some really good friends there. and some of them were afraid that if they ever complained about anything, they would be "kicked out" I would say that if your loved one was a very quiet and self-effacing person it could be a good place for them. but those that speak their mind, don't go there.
