I live in Texas and had Valentine flowers and chocolates delivered to my elderly mom at Evergreen Place on Valentine’s Day. The florist delivered at 9am to reception and the receptionist put them in a downstairs office. I checked with mom around 4:30 and she had not received the flowers or chocolates. I called the Evergreen facility and found out no one ever bothered to take mom’s Valentine’s Day flowers up to her. This happened at Christmas too with a package I mailed. It sat downstairs for 2 days til I chased it down and the package was brought up to mom’s apartment. I spoke to the manager who offered no resolution. She apologized but gave the impression that none of this really mattered. It’s sad that this is my mothers ‘home’ and when I try to reach across the miles with deliveries - they are afterthoughts to the staff receiving them and I must make sure they get delivered inside Evergreen Place to my mom.

We recently moved my mom into Evergreen a few months ago. From our very first visit the staff has been absolutely wonderful! My mom is very content and loves the food, clean environment and friendly staff. She really enjoys the activities (especially bingo) with her new friends she’s made. Our entire family can’t thank Evergreen enough for making this next chapter of my mom’s life so enjoyable and comfortable. Well done!

Mom has been here for 2 years. Staff is friendly and always ready to help where needed. Many activities for residents to be involved. We have made friends with many of the residents while visiting mom. Beautiful facility.
