Franklin Manor, An Inspirit Senior Living Community

It's well ran place. I would have anyone come here because they care about us a lot. The food is good and the care is even better.

We appreciate the professional care Franklin Manor provided. It was the right choice for our family.

Have friends there, and since its changed from Southern Manor it's not the same. The residents loved Cristy Hawersmith who the director got rid of. All complain about the food The rooms are dirty, My friend looses clothes as well as some of her linen there. Has had large amounts of cash stolen.

This is a uniquely wonderful place for the elderly. The manager is a kind, sympathetic, delightful person, and her personality filters down to her employees. I will never be able to express how loving and gentle the staff was with my mother. I can recommend Southern Manor without reservation.

This is the worst assisted living home ever. The employees are unintelligent and uncaring. They despise the elderly as evidenced by the way they treat them. I was just in there dropping off food back in June. When I went in, they were all sitting at a table in the lunch room. They weren’t visiting with the elderly or checking on them. During meals, they get their own plate and eat in the back instead of eating with the assisted living people. They treat them like they’re garbage or an imposition. They don’t sit down and chat with them. They don’t ask them how their day is going. They also give people their pills laying down. Just try to explain this logic to me... my nana ended up having pneumonia from laying down and drinking water to get the pill to go down. They can’t even be bothered to set them up. They also nickel and dime you here. Everything costs extra - giving medicine costs extra. It’s absurd... it’s far from all-inclusive. Never once in all the times I’ve been there has the director said hello to me or introduced herself. She sits in her office acting like she’s running this god forsaken dump. They don’t think about the people there at all. It’s obvious in how the place is laid out. They have this decor that can be quite dangerous for all the people with their canes and walkers. The people who work here are so full of drama. They’re nothing but a bunch of busy bodies sticking their nose where it doesn’t belong and getting all mixed up in family affairs where they should be more concerned about taking care of the elderly. While my nana was here, she broke both her hips, her neck and received many cuts and bruises. My nana tripped over the metal foot stool at the salon and broke her hip. Why on earth would they have things like that where people could hurt themselves? I absolutely despise this place and the people who work here! They are TERRIBLE MONSTERS! This place was the death of my nana! They gave her anxiety pills when they were told not to which is very illegal.
