Friesland AL and Zeeland Memory Support

My friend lives at Hearthstone and is so happy there. The care is excellent, the staff are kind, and the place is just beautiful. I hear that the food is good, too! :) I would recommend Hearthstone for anyone, and I'll certainly consider it myself some day.

Both of my parents received warm and loving care while residents here. Staff is competent and caring. Facility is clean and residents wishes are respected.

I live at the Cottages and have for a few years now. There are so many nice people who work here. The caregivers are always around when I need them. They’re really nice to talk to, and I just appreciate them so much. They do so many nice things for me that I can’t even pick just one thing that I like. For example the other day I asked if they could make me a smoothie. They said they would get the ingredients I like and they did. Then they started making me smoothies in the morning when I want them. The cook is so nice, she even makes me homemade brownies when I ask for them. I also liked the card game of Family Feud, so they put it on the calendar and now every month I host the game for everyone. One last thing, last week my family took me to the movie Hamilton and my caregivers helped me pick out a cute outfit. Then they helped me put on my make up and make my hair look pretty. Sometimes they braid my hair after showers too and I really like that. It’s just a great place to be and I’m thankful to live here.

I hate to complain a second time but I was delivering to a regular Doordash customer and someone who supposedly is a cook that works here climbed out of her car, walked deliberately to me and in a very odd tone said she’d take the order to my customer. I’m sure she didn’t mean anything by it, but it’s my job to deliver where the customer wants to deliver it, not some random stranger who I know is not the customer. Why anyone would think I’d give someone else’s order to a random person who isn’t the customer is beyond me. This is the second time I’ve had unnecessary stress at this place. I’m just meant to deliver a doordash and be on my way. I don’t have time to talk to other people who are not my customer, about my job. I can’t help but doubt people’s intentions when they act as unruly and crass as the two unpleasant and unrelated interactions I had here.
