GARDENS AT BARRY ROAD, THE

The Gardens on Barry Road is an amazing senior living facility. I moved my Aunt first and then when it came to my father n law 6 months later it was hands down going to be The Gardens on Barry Rd. The facility is amazing, the layout, but the staff I must say you will not find a group of kinder people. I did reach out and tour many places before choosing his Senior Living and no facility was like The Gardens on Barry Road Reviews mean a lot to me so if you are searching and reading reviews please take mine into consideration because we all love our love ones ❤️

We are so grateful for everything about The Gardens at Barry Road. The place is very beautiful and extremely clean. Our loved one was treated so wonderfully. The staff was so pleasant and they went out of their way to make our loved one feel special. He was dreading moving into assisted living but then didn't want to leave when he had to move on to a long term care facility. I would highly recommend The Gardens at Barry Road. We feel blessed that they had an opening when we needed it. They are AMAZING!

The Gardens of Barry Road have been extremely patient with my mom. The staff are awesome. The residents love it there. I am sure once she gets used to it, she will fit right in. They are a extremely clean place. She wanted to go there daily for the activities and lunch but wanted to come home and sleep. However with her dementia deteriorating, this was not the best option. Her safety was 1st as mom was still cooking. On numerous times, she created a safety hazard not only in our kitchen but also in her bedroom. It is of utmost importance that our loved ones are well taken care of even if it hurts seeing this in the beginning. As time passes, I am sure Mom will get used to her surroundings and settle in.

We just moved my dad into a skilled nursing facility from The Gardens. I could write pages about how wonderful this facility is. The people are remarkably dedicated and caring. They helped us navigate many medical situations in the 14 months we used them. Even after moving out, they are still 10X more responsive with requests than any other facility or medical services organization we've used to care for my elderly dad. There were times when they were short and management helped serve the residents food and wherever they could help out. The management staff would often work very long days to make sure each resident's needs were met in a timely fashion. This level of commitment and servant-leadership is rare in society today. We can hope and pray that they are an example for others, regardless of industry. If you have the opportunity to use this facility for your loved ones, you should.

The intake process for both of my parents has been nothing short of pleasant. Unfortunately, due to some of my mothers health problems it has been a very trying process to find a facility that is willing to take her with Medicaid. After a horrible experience at another facility prior to this, It has been such a relief to be able to move her to a facility who truly cares about their residents. After talking to several other residents in the last couple of weeks, they all seem very content and happy. My parents as well as other residents have raved about how good the food is! Many of them have come from other facilities where they have expressed their gratefulness to The Gardens at Barry Road. The staff also seem to feel very appreciated. Such a welcoming place. Lesa has been awesome! The other staff I have met with have been very kind.
