Gardens at Luther Park

I only gave 1 star because it wouldn’t let me publish my review without any stars otherwise I would give it no stars. Do Not send your loved ones here. They make you “promises” they cannot keep.They’ll tell you what you want to hear to get your family members to move there. My mom is 93 & totally blind. They promised to teach her how to get around in her apartment & never did. She was told to use her call button then was admonished for using it too much. We were told their help line could be called 24 hrs a day & they either did not answer or told us that we were not to use it. We had cameras in her apartment & could see & hear everything that went on. She was left on the toilet for 25 minutes not knowing where the staff had gone & not able to help herself due to her blindness. Another time staff entered her apartment & refused to respond to my blind mother when she was asking for help. On three different occasions a man resident entered her apartment. Once eating some of her food while she & staff were in the bathroom, another time when she was in bathroom with staff & once in the middle of the night walking around while my mom was sleeping. When my mom used her call button she had to wait anywhere from 15 minutes to 1 1/2 hrs. There response was always “ we have other people to help” the whole time my mom was crying because she needed to go to the bathroom & is blind & never taught to find it herself. These are just a few of the incidents needless to say after only 7 weeks there we had to move her. If they treated my mom that way knowing we were watching & listening, how do they treat the residents who don’t have cameras or family checking on them? If you’re looking for a good place I highly recommend Ramsey Village.

The staff at The Gardens gave my Mom wonderful care and attention. The building is clean and my Mom said their food is good.

Dear friend lives here and is so well taken care of. So many things on grounds for them to do! Eat, games, socializing, beautician on premises .
