The Gardens Care Homes - Cherry Knolls

The staff here is truly excellent. My father has been living at Gardens Care for nearly two years, and Jessica and her team have been outstanding throughout that time. I visit regularly—usually at least once a week—and the facility is always clean, well kept, and welcoming. Most importantly, the care and attention my father receives is exceptional and consistent. Jessica deserves special recognition. She consistently goes above and beyond in every aspect of her role. She is highly organized, proactive, and remarkably attentive—not only to residents, but to families as well. She anticipates needs, follows through, and genuinely works hard to make everyone in the facility as comfortable, supported, and respected as possible at all times. Whenever I reach out with questions or concerns, she is already one step ahead, which gives me tremendous peace of mind. It is clear she takes her responsibility seriously and leads by example, and that care and professionalism extends to the entire staff. Everyone I interact with on a weekly basis, including Mackenzie, Josie, and Kevin, is kind, capable, and clearly well chosen for the work they do. I appreciate them fully! What means the most to me is that my father truly considers this place his home. Even when we go out for something as simple as milkshakes, once he gets tired he often tells me he’s ready to “go home,” which says everything about how comfortable and well cared for he is here. Knowing he is content and happy to call Gardens Care his home is incredibly important to me and brings a great deal of reassurance. The activities coordinator also deserves recognition. Mackenzie is outstanding and regularly engages with my father in ways that genuinely matter to him. She often helps him with things he truly enjoys, such as building model airplanes, and it’s clear she takes the time to connect with residents on a personal level. I frequently receive wonderful photos—often weekly—showing my father smiling, engaged, and enjoying himself while dancing, building models, or participating in other activities. While I do not always get to interact with everyone on staff, I do know that Josie, Kevin and Mackenzie are integral and contribute to the well being of each individual. Their dedication is outstanding, and I truly apprecuiate the hard work they do. I’m very grateful for Gardens Care and continue to trust them completely with my father’s care—and with my own peace of mind.

My mother spent the greater part of this year at Gardens Care, Cherry Knolls Assisted Living Facility-Memory Care. We were met with partnership in her care from the beginning. She was treated with dignity, respect, and humor. She (and we as her children) felt part of a community there by the staff and the other residents (and their families). Melissa and the staff celebrate the individuality of each of the residents, and exemplifying a “client/resident” centered approach. They taught me how to become agile with my mother’s changes. Thank you all for helping us with the final chapters in Mom’s life.

The staff at Cherry Knolls was SOOOO lovely to me and my family. They were so attentive to my grandma, non stop. So kind, gentle and patient. Melissa, Gaby, Jennifer, Nyah, and Chanel were so helpful and helpful. Loved having her here and would 100% recommend.
