Golden Lodge Assisted Living LLC

My experience was not a good one, my FIL was at this place for 6 months and nothing was what it seemed. This was a lot of constant follow up and frustration.  This place will give you a lot of promises when you are touring but they DO NOT follow through.  Understaffed.  Cannot give could care with all-inclusive rates.   If your loved one needs more than average care and you get in on a deal, they will not provide the care.  Poor communication.  Heather never returns calls or emails many times.  My FIL said after he moved there that they were very unorganized.  He was very unhappy here.  We were promised a landline and internet with our rate along with a sports package availability that never materialized.  It took months to get a decent internet connection as the entire 2nd floor had none when he moved in.  He never got a decent landline.  We told them he needed a landline during our tour as he does forget how to use his cell phone at times. We emphasized this during out tour. Then there is the dining room.  Residents can wait up to an hour for their food.  My FIL would walk out along with other residents complaining about the wait time on food when he initially moved in. Other residents would share the same experience.  My FIL quit going to the dining room and instead received room trays that would arrive very late some of the time.  He would get his breakfast around 10 am instead of 8:00-8:30. I took the trash out several times myself and removed the dishes from his room. The food was decent, but it would be cold a lot of the time. I would not want to go through this again and would not want anyone else to experience this.

The Memory care staff at Golden Lodge was so caring and patient either my mom. They helped her feel at home and comfortable when she moved in. I highly recommend Golden Lodge as a caring, supportive place. We were able to reach staff and ask questions. We were able to visit at any time. Overall it’s a positive place for my mother to be.

Toured yesterday! Beautiful facility with an incredible team! Everyone we met was extremely kind and professional. The food was top notch as well, the Executive Chef really cares!

We can't say enough about the time Heather spent helping us find a place for my mom while navigating some of the insurance issues. Golden Lodge is a beautiful place, both inside and out. Not to mention the people there are kind and patient.
