What a wonderful place. They have an amazing staff and care for each resident so much. What a blessing for my dad and my family to have such a wonderful place to help care for him. They go above and beyond. We are truly blessed. Thank you Good Life Carlsbad.

While the facility is beautiful and most of the staff caring. The staff is not medically trained. The management is an able to keep employees long term. Residents are not given adequate medical care. There is a nurse on staff however is very part time and is very rarely at the facility. So if an employee does not notice a change in the resident nothing will be addressed and can go on for a long period of time. Management is also an able to keep equipment/ appliances working and don’t seem to care.

My 97 year old dad is celebrating one year living the good life at Good Life Carlsbad NM. The facility is beautiful, food is good and staff is absolutely incredible! Our family considers the staff at Good Life our extended family! I'm at the facility A LOT and have watched the caregivers interact with all the residents. AMAZING! I don't know how they do it...but I'm so thankful for their kindness, care and love they have for their residents. We have peace of mind with dad at Good Life ! Thank you from the bottom of our heart

Our father received compassionate and respectful care at this home. The level of care increased as his needs changed. Facility was always clean and staff friendly & responsive. Our family will always be grateful for the kindness shown to us during our loved one's final days. Dates of residence 9/17 - 4/18

My loved one was in this facility for less than 1 month. He fell in the facility, was not taken directly to the hospital, and died a day and a half later from a brain bleed. The day after the fall, a family member who came to visit him, noticed that something was terribly wrong. After taking him to the hospital, she was told by the doctor that he probably would not make it through the night. He died the next morning.
