HARBOR OF DOUGLASVILLE

I have been working with the harbor to get my grandpa moved in for a few months. He was making a huge move from san diego ACROSS THE COUNTRY a huge shift! Oree Williams was an incredible help with accommodating us. He made a huge exception for us to get a private room turned into a companion room for my grandpa. This whole community is amazing. My grandpa has been there a week now and he loves the community. 10/10 would recommend!

Our family had been searching for a place for my sister-in-law for a long time, and just when we were beginning to lose hope of finding somewhere we could truly trust to be her new home—we found The Harbor. From the very first visit, The Harbor felt like a long-lost home for our loved one. The entire staff is exceptionally professional, kind, and incredibly supportive. They treat every resident with genuine care, respect, and love. We are beyond grateful. Thank you for everything you do!

I truly am happy with the level of care for my dad and the way the facility is maintained. Trusting anyone with seniors is always difficult and although no place is perfect I know my loved one is not being mistreated or neglected here. It’s a busy environment where seniors are stimulated. There are outside community organizations that constantly come in to interact with residents, you can pop in at any time to visit or check in on your loved ones and that’s super-important to our family.

Very pleased with my tour on yesterday. I have been looking for a facility for my father for a month now. The hospitality that Mr. Williams and the staff had was top tier. Absolutely beautiful facility. Loved the decor. His bathroom and room very nice and clean. was nice and clean. The staff were the sweetest. Very welcoming. The chef had it smelling like a 5 star restaurant in there . I know my dad is going to enjoy her cooking. Loved seeing the residents having dinner together. Like a big happy family watching M.A.S.H The atmosphere was so calm and peaceful. I feel very blessed that my father will be apart of this community next week.Everyone keep up the good work. In November of 2023, a family member of ours were placed at The Harbor. Growing up I was taught to honor the people you love. Those values resonate highly at The Harbor. From the director to the assistant director, all the way down to every staff member, every patient is treated with care as if they were family! The facility stays clean, patients are safe and happy as they interact with each other, staff, and family members, while engaging in daily routine and or special planned events or activities. If I had to choose a home away from home for my love ones or even for myself, it would be the Harbor in Douglasville!
