GRAND OAKS

I am happy to report that corporate took notice on all the issues concerning my friend who resides there. There seems to be an upward trend on resident care and staff involvement with this facility. Thank you for compassion and understanding. my friend absolutely LOVES it at Grand Oaks and thats all that matters to me is her safety and happiness

Nice place and very clean. However, my mother is there. They advertise a nurse 24/7, there is not. They plan activities, but no-one shows up to do them. No one at front desk most of the time. And worst of all, the person who administers the medication has not yet graduated High School.

Everything about the Oaks is positive. The physical facility is excelent,well maintained and very clean. The staff is great. They are very competent, friendly, courtious and always ready to do what ever they can to make you comfortable.The dineing experience is first rate the service is prompt, the food is very good and the variety and preparation is outstanding. The only deficiency that I have noted is that frequently the food is not hot and sometimes the vegitables are cold and overcooked. The deserts more than make up for this problem-- they are superior. Overall I would rate the Oaks 4.95 out of 5.0
