What a fantastic place! The Grand Victorian of Rockford is beautiful, clean, and full of life. There's always something exciting happening, from game nights to courtyard parties, and the residents seem to genuinely enjoy each other's company. The staff goes above and beyond to make everyone feel special, and the amenities are top-notch. A truly great community for seniors

Kyle has been so incredibly kind and caring helping me navigate getting my dad safely into assisted living. Always with a warm smile, he has helped me with answers to any and all questions as I’ve navigated trying to get good care for my dad, and when he doesn’t have a specific answer, he has among his network someone who does have an answer. I am so grateful to know that I have the support and guidance of his caring experience. The facility is really nice, clean, and lots of activities. I could t be happier with this choice for my dad.

I always enjoy visiting my mother in law and her friends at the Grand Victorian. The staff is always so friendly and PATIENT. We feel our mom is safe here, and always has plenty of activities to choose from. The building is in a process of a refresh, and is coming along Beautifully. It’s always clean and fresh smelling in all of the common areas and has a beautiful courtyard with new patio furniture. My mom in law has a nice and well kept apartment, and the maintenance staff helps her out with any apartment issues.

I highly recommend Grand Victorian for multiple reasons. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. Not just caring like it's their job. They really, really care about the residents and their family. I can't count the number of times I called the staff and asked questions and just randomly bothered them . They listened and responded with empathy but most important, they did everything they could to accommodate my dad and me. The rooms are well appointed. Very clean. Meals always smelled and looked good. Dad said they were pretty good (which is like getting a Michelin star as picky as he is). Tons of activities. I had so much anxiety about my dad going there. If you're reading this and you're worried it's ok. It shows you care. But honestly, this is the place for your loved one. They WILL take care of them. You can rest assured they will get the best treatment. Placing your loved one at Grand Victorian will give you the chance to rest and enjoy your time with them instead of worrying about their health and safety.

When you walk through the front door for the first time, you will notice this is not like most other facilities. The friendly staff is exceptionally caring, kind, and loving to the residents. The Grand Victorian experience just seems to attract nice people like that. The residents are friendly toward each other and they enjoy being together. They involve themselves in the many activities that are specially planned for them. Food service is always an important consideration and at Grand Victorian, you will never be disappointed.
