Grand Victorian of Sycamore

Our family has had such a wonderful experience getting to know Grand Victoria in Sycamore as we thoughtfully explore the next chapter in our father’s aging journey. From the very first visit, we felt an immediate sense of warmth, community, and genuine care. Every interaction — from the nurses, to the activities director, to the leadership team — has been welcoming, compassionate, and deeply respectful of both residents and families. It’s clear that this is more than just a facility; it’s a true community where people are known, valued, and supported. Taking this step for a parent is emotional, and the kindness and openness we’ve experienced at Grand Victoria has made the process feel reassuring and hopeful. We truly look forward to the opportunity for our dad to build friendships, find purpose, and feel at home at Grand Victoria — a place we already see as his future home away from home.

I recently had the pleasure of touring the Grand Victorian of Sycamore and was so impressed. The community is beautiful, but it's the warm, welcoming atmosphere that really stands out. Julyne and the team are clearly dedicated to their residents. Highly recommend a visit if you're looking for a top-tier senior living community in the area!

Can’t say enough about how wonderful this facility is. EVERYONE there is friendly and welcoming. Staff and residents. My Mom was hesitant to accept we needed to start looking for an assisted living. But when we toured Julyne was so wonderful & caring with my Mom that my Mom decided on her own that it was time for a move. I can’t tell you how this has changed all our lives for the better. I don’t have to worry about my Mom’s safety anymore. We can’t thank Julyne and the entire staff enough! Highly recommend them!

This has been a fantastic home for our mom to be at. I love that their philosophy is “we work in your home.” And “today we say yes.” Very caring staff, lively community, beautiful apartments, delicious food. We also love the care level model.

Grand Victorian is wonderful! The staff treat the residents like they are family. When my brother ageeed to live there- he was was reluctant- so the staff took extra care to make him feel at home. He also wasn’t walking well on his own and they were very patient and worked with him to be independent again. Great communication, lots of activities for residents and always welcoming to the families of the residents. The decor and furniture is up to date and new. Always looks so nice when you walk in!
