GRANDWOOD ASSISTED LIVING, LC

My grandmother was at his facility for a short amount of time. She loved it! Friendly and caring staff. You walk in the doors of the main building and you are hit with the wonderful aroma of food that they cook for the residents. Thank you for all that you do!!!

I have experience both with Grandwood’s Assisted living side, and the memory care side of their senior facility. I would like to recommend them to any person that is dealing with the difficult decision of how to care for their elderly parent when being in their own home is no longer feasible. My experience has been that Grandwood is resident oriented, family oriented, less turnover of employees, great nursing staff, and has administrators that care about the families, and also care about their employees. This all works together to produce an environment where the resident’s best interests are served. Grandwood is privately owned and I believe this is a factor also in the level of personalized care they are able to offer. We have had personal experience with other facilities before we moved our loved one to Grandwood in Grove, Oklahoma, and there has been no comparison. Mom’s care was better at Grandwood and her health actually improved until her very final days. We would recommend all families take a look and talk to the staff at Grandwood if you are considering out of home care for a parent or loved one.

It's a beautiful place, caring attendance and thoughtful patient oversight. Here clients have an ability to live out their lives with grace and dignity.

Our mother stayed here. We were not impressed. Especially when her dementia worsened. They basically kicked her out. They packed her belongings, at least some of them, and left them at the front door. We are still waiting for the rest of her belongings to be returned.

Not the best get rid of the rude administrator!
