Greystone Farm At Salem

Just had to take my mother out of Greystone. Assisted living is expensive.Thank goodness for Medicaid. And finances are the only reason we took her out. What a wonderful experience over the past almost 2 years. The staff from top to bottom were just wonderful to my 95 year old mother and us as a family. As I said to a few of the staff when saying goodby the last day. This just sucks. My mother was so happy and comfortable there. Staff is engaging and friendly, and it's not just a show when you're visiting. I observed numerous situations where the staff was treating the other residents just as well as my mother. No hesitations in recommending Greystone, Lisa (the big cheese) and the rest of the staff.

We moved my mom into Greystone Farms from Florida in December 2024. She’s 99 and was living alone in a single family home for 25+ years. Managing her care from a distance was extremely challenging. When I toured Greystone with Dale and saw the available apartment, I knew instantly it was perfect. From the very first day I walked through the doors at Greystone, the staff has been amazing. Dale was by me through the move in every way. The move was so much more complicated than I could have imagined, I could not have managed it without the support of Dale and the staff.Now that my Mom has settled, I can’t say enough about the admin, care, compassion, professionalism, communication, nursing, activities, dining and cleanliness. My mom gets one on one assistance and stimulation throughout the day. It’s truly a very special place.

Throughout her time there, the staff provided not only professional but also compassionate support, which made a significant difference in her quality of life. The facility's dedication to providing a safe, nurturing environment was evident in every interaction. The caregivers were attentive and respectful, and they worked tirelessly to ensure that my sister's needs were met with kindness and dignity. In addition to the excellent care, the facility itself was always clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable atmosphere for residents. I felt reassured knowing my sister was in good hands. I wholeheartedly recommend this facility to anyone seeking care for their loved ones.

The staff at Greystone Farm has provided wonderful support and care for my parents since the day they moved in. My parents immediately felt at home and enjoyed participating in activities on and off campus. In his final days, the staff took excellent care of my Dad while continuing to look out for my Mom. As Sylvia said to me, “When I am here, your parents are my parents “. It was so comforting to know they were in good hands and helped reduce stress in such a difficult time. Thank you.🙏

Thanks to everyone at Greystone Farm our dad has remained hospital free since moving to his new home! Before moving to Greystone, he had been so sick that we never could have hoped for him to be doing so well. His physical and mental health has markedly improved, despite a chronic neurological disease, and he is now thriving at Greystone! The food is consistently great which helps too! We cannot say enough about the collaboration and professionalism of the Greystone team from the receptionist to everyone else that we encounter in the Greystone community (including those behind the scenes!). There are just too many great team members to name! Thanks so much for taking such good care of our dad and our family for the past 2-1/2 years, love the Zaino Family
