Habersham Manor, LLC

We are deeply disappointed with Habersham Memory Care Facility. As immediate family living out of state, we depended fully on them to provide the care they promised for our grandmother. They failed to properly prepare for her arrival. They told us her prescriptions from Guardian Pharmacy had not arrived, which meant she would have been left without her necessary medications until Monday. Instead of ensuring her medications were in place, they sent her to the hospital for medication and evaluation. Later, they refused to accept her back, stating they did not know the extent of her dementia and felt her behaviors were not safe. However, earlier that same week she had a virtual assessment with Habersham staff, was classified as a Level 3 resident with an increased care cost, and an admission date was scheduled. Our family provided all documentation that was requested. We believe Habersham failed to do their due diligence before accepting her, which led to this situation. As a result, our grandmother, who has dementia, was left in a hospital hallway for days without being admitted, while we were out of state trying to urgently find another facility. This was an extremely stressful and heartbreaking experience for our family. We trusted Habersham to care for a vulnerable loved one, and our experience was that they were unprepared and unwilling to follow through on the care they had agreed to provide.

Such a wonderful place!! Fantastic staff, definitely recommend!
